    As a car lover, it frustrates the hell out of me seeing cars like this and the Espada left to rot in sheds. But as a human, it's important to remember that life events and emotions can impact on our behaviour and possessions like a car can trigger a lot memories that not everyone is able to deal with.

    • @Sunedosa
      @Sunedosa Před 2 lety +3

      Of course but that's a given, never said that it was something they intended. But something as simple as a tarp would have kept it in better shape to a certain degree. If it was an old bug or a volvo 142 it would have been more understandable. The Espada however retailed at $21 k , the internet says as much as 3 Porsche 911's retailed for back then. Then again the Espada might be the rich man's old volvo, who knows ? Doesn't make any of it less sad anyway.

    Kind of a rule of thumb to not use high pressure water on these cars, and power washing is a definite no no. You probably caused more long term damage with all the water that has gotten into hidden places. Some of the worst condition Ferraris I have come across are the ones that got washed excessively -- lots of hidden rust and corrosion. Owners meant well but had no clue they were creating long term problems.

    Just about anyone can spray down a modern car with a hose and make it look good. But it takes a special kind of person to take something that looks dead and bring life back into it. I dont care if they aren’t perfect, it’s simply incredible how much life you bring back to these classics. Thanks for getting them back on the road, many will just die covered in dirt and mouse poo. But not if Larry has anything to say about it!

    Larry, great vid! I have a rough jeep that is my daily and I use it off road a lot. It has pinstripes and I wire wheel the underside yearly and hit it with rust oleum. It feels good to see people like you and your friends take as much professional pride in washing cars like mine as a new ride. I love washing and detailing my Jeep. People wonder why I clay the Jeep and the next day it looks like I drove it through a mud waterfall.

    It all started in like ... a random day when this video of yours with the Countach appeared out of the blue in my "Recommended" feed of videos. I was totally hooked by your work since then! Outstandingly relaxing, outrageous work and dedication ... I mean, man ... what can I say? Kinda nothing at this point :)) I'm just waiting for the next video to come up! Keep up the brilliant work!

    I love the really messy cars because it makes such an amazing before-and-after and people are always so amazed at how it turned out. I have done many vehicles where people just kind of shrug and say "Do what you can do." And when I give them the car back they just can't believe what was done. I learn so much about time management and product use, and it really helps my reputation.
