  • Todd Bensman has spent the last 20 years dealing with the issue of immigration. He’d pretty much seen it all-that is, until policy changes in 2021 launched an unparalleled crisis on America’s borders.

    Script:
I’ve spent the last twenty years of my life dealing with the issue of immigration - first as a reporter in Texas, then as an intelligence officer in the Texas government, and now as a Fellow for the Center for Immigration Studies.
I’ve been all over Texas, Mexico, and Central America. I’ve pretty much seen it all. But I’ve never seen anything like what I’ve seen since January 2021. No one has.
According to US government data, some eight million people have illegally entered the United States from 2021 to 2024.
These are the people we know about. But it’s hardly the whole story.
Another 2 million must be added to the total. These are the “gotaways,” the ones seen by border agents but never apprehended, and the ones who enter the country through a myriad of other ways. That brings us to a grand total of 10 million illegal crossers in three years - an average of 300,000 every month since Joe Biden was inaugurated president.
That is the greatest mass movement across national borders in US history, and maybe the greatest in human history. And they’ll keep coming if we continue our current policies. That’s not a guess. That’s a guarantee.
How can I say that? Because I know why they’re coming. They’ve told me. Over and over and over again.
It’s not because they fear political persecution in their home country.
It’s not because they fear the drug cartels.
And it’s not because they fear their abusive husbands.
Sure, some fraction of migrants fit those descriptions, but the overwhelming majority are coming for a much more obvious reason: To work and make money in the world’s richest country. Simple as that.
It’s an economic calculation. Risk versus reward.
If the reward of entering the US is greater than the risk of deportation, migrants will come.
And not just from Mexico or Central America, but from almost every country in the world. In the last three years, they’ve come from 150 different nations including China, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Mauritania, Haiti, Cuba, and Venezuela.
They are drawn to the US by what Spanish-speaking migrants call “La Invitación,” an invitation to a banquet of generous government benefits and economic opportunities unavailable to them in their home countries.

The "border patrol" should be replaced by "border guards".
A lot of countries have border guards.

    • @selocan469
      @selocan469 Před 26 dny

Was illegal immigration not happening at that speed before Biden because there were "border guards" back than and Biden switch them to "border patrol"? No, I think this is not the main issue here! I am from Turkey, our President made an open enden invitation to Syrians, and they poured by the millions in matter of months. A roughly 3.6 million Syrians (registered only) immigrated to a 84.98 million Country in just a few months which is a quarter of U.S. (84.98/333.3 ≈ 1/4 = 0.25 ). You do the math and see this will way topple your immigration issue. I do not say you have an immigration issue, you surely have a huge one, but we had an titanic one. And it was not because our border system and military could not handle it obviously and neither is yours (U.S.).
If a leader and management of a country make an invitation, anyone who have significantly lower life standards in their country than the inviting one. will just charge through the borders. And that is what video says, "A POLICY ISSUE". "border guards" or whatever is just an outcome of Policies. Make them "border guards", with Biden Polices they will illegally immigrate anyway and most importantly will not be deported.

Admittedly I cried when Trump was elected. I was brainwashed by my environment. Now I wish a president with an even more extreme approach to closing our border was elected. I want a closed border, armed guards who take people out who are sneaking across, and mass deportations.
I want my country back and a safe country for my family. I stopped caring about sob stories of others.

Yes, God bless you for having the courage to admit you were wrong and for having the intelligence to see things as they are, unfortunately there are still many hundreds of thousands of voters that know Trump was right but they will never admit it and will still vote against him even though they know that the country would be in a better place with him in office. Can you imagine if Trump would of won a second term and built the wall? America would be a total different place right now.

I personally know of two cases and know of many more that legal immigrants are here, being productive members of society that are being ejected because their visa is expiring. One that I know of has a conditionally approved H1-B visa that the USCIS is making them leave for two years before giving final approval. The other case I know is married to a US citizen and they have a 7 month old child. She's a kindergarten teacher but the USCIS will not approve a change of status to allow her to stay here, keep her job, and stay with her husband and child. But these thousands with little or no marketable skills are allowed across daily. This immigration system is broken beyond repair.

    Illegal Immigration:
If the Leadership in our government really wanted to solve illegal immigration and close the border the solution is very simple.
At any given time in the United States there are a large number of military units doing training in a variety of different areas. Many of these units go to locations on the military installation they are stationed on and conduct training. Many of the training exercises are done at other locations such as another military installation. Many of our forces especially those of the combat arms spend much of their time in a given year going to do training at the various locations.
The Simple Solution I suggest to our illegal immigration problem is as follows:
Add the Border as one of the training locations in which our military personnel go each year. Instead of one of their trips to Fort Irwin California for example, that unit would instead do a short rotation on the border. While another unit instead of going to down range Fort Riley for example also goes on a rotation to the Border. Their next training exercise would be back to one of their typical training areas. This allows for tens of thousands of military personnel to patrol and secure the Border at virtually no cost. I say virtually no cost, because the funds for routine training are already budgeted. With this plan there are now tens of thousands of troops on the ground, along with a variety of Air Force Marines and Army aircraft patrolling the skies. Our air assets also do training. Imagine almost no cost to totally secure our border. Almost seems like the only reason it hasn't been done yet is that our leaders don't want the border secure.

How You Can Have Eternal Life ! Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust, etc. Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice, when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! And believe that the sinless blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses you from all sin, which purifies your soul ! Then the Lord Jesus will forgive you, save you from hell and give you eternal life ! And you will be sealed with the Holy Spirit who will dwell within you forever! And thank Jesus ! Rom.3:25,5:8,9,10:9 Rev.1:5,Ephes.1:7,13,4:30, Heb.10:10-14,19,38,39 I John 5:7,13,20

The real party is the one thats dividing the people and causing intentional polarization so they can get away with corruption amist the culture way, pushing the blame onto a "well defined enemy group"
Some republicans and democrats play the same game, on the same team, but in just different colored shirts.
The real victims are the ones who play into it blindly.
Its not a new thing, was done throughout history, divide and conquer revamped.

The non-white immigrants who come here still prefer that their children marry in their culture, and when they open businesses, they hire people from their own culture. BIack Americans tend to elect other bIacks on the ballot without giving the candidate's credentials and history much thought, just because the candidate is like them.
