Tj actually would be a good coach/teacher
Pruthvi V better than Garbrandt
I feel like TJ doesn't want to give up his tricks until he retires, otherwise you'll have a Cruz style situation where he's been completely figured out while he's still fighting.
Pruthvi V He would sucker punch his students 😂
Michael Ruediger lol exactly. Or teach them to be not as good.
Watch TUF, you'll see more of TJ coaching
This guy is perfect combination of muay thai and wrestling.
Why is the rum gone? Yeah he's one of the best MMA I've ever seen.
While you are the farthest thing from being wrong, I think it is extremely difficult to fully understand his efforts to perfection. This guy has the craziest game ever. Wrestling kickboxing? Of course but nevermind that. This guys footwork is on another level.
Jone Jones has the perfect combination, not this dude
Marck.Cat do you have adhd? jon Jones' footwork is nowhere near tj's. Are you kidding? Watch how unpredictable tj moves then watch Jones. Jon Jones is not as good as you think anyway. You do, but if that's what you want to Think, why does he struggle with guys with his frame? Example, gus. I'm sure if stephen struve was a little more skilled he'd give Jones problems as well. Reason is simple, his entire fight game is built around using the length of his limbs to be honest. Which isn't a bad thing. But how come you can't fight guys your size and win with ease like you do with everybody else? Again its not a bad thing, I admire some of it. Like the standing guillotine choke he used to put lyoto machida to sleep. That takes an incredible amount of leverage. 6 4 and an 84 " reach makes that alot easier. But get real, how dare you mention Jon Jones and versatility. Nobody has demonstrated anywhere near the ambidextrous capability that dillishaw has. It's unique and in a league of its own. Conor is about as close as someone has came to that.
Marck.Cat yea Jon jones has too.
Did you make this video for Gokhan saki?
Lmao Damn
LOL
Crazy. Saki obvs knows this, just got complacent

I didn’t like TJ after McGregor called him a snake and he left Team Alpha Male but I realize he did the smart thing. He left to learn and improve himself. He’s the best bantamweight in the world now.
This comment has aged badly my g
Jeffrey Geoff Jefferson well said sir
TJ is my favorite fighter. He was just a wrestler when he started but has developed into a true mixed martial artist. From his footwork to his cardio, his game plans and versatility, he is so well rounded. He is also a really chill cool guy and seems like a decent person. I hope he starches Cody again!
Hes great lmao, stoked he got finished while on steroids.
Such a great fighter and amazing in his craft. A wrestler who is now a well rounded martial artist
One of the best at actually doing this in his fights. Always kicks from an angle and doesn’t leave himself wide open for the counter...mostly...☮️
Epo and leg kicks.. I'm listening......
Duane Ludwig is one of the best people I’ve ever met in the fight game. Exceptional human being/martial artist.
G I L . CHILL the internet ladies and gentlemen
*exceptional meth head and peanut butter salesman
The trick is to learn to give a low kick at close distance, that way you generate more power (and lose less) and you can actually make a solid combination instead of only one kick. Besides, learning to do it with the front leg is even more useful, since you can hit the inside (the weak spot) of the thigh.
Great pro tips. Thank you so much for these and keep them coming !
Nice instruction. Also to note, that the high kick that sent Cody to the mat in their last fight was set up beautifully if you watch closely. TJ was purposely looking down while kicking Cody's legs. Even with that big tell (which TJ was purposely doing to set a trap) he was still landing leg kicks. Then when TJ see's Cody stand square (which is a tell for Cody when he's about to strike/counter up close) while looking down and mimicking the widnup of a low kick, TJ slightly bent more at the waist and high kicked Cody right on the jaw. It was the perfect trap that Cody didnt see coming.
Being that Cody was in his "set" position (standing square, ready to strike/counter), TJ threw his trick kick knowing that Cody cant check it because he's standing square to him. Cody's options are either take the kick full (which is already hurting from previous kicks), or quickly scoot back (dodging) causing him to pull his feet together, stand straight up with his feet slightly behind his center of gravity (off balanced), leaving Cody in a position to dodge a low kick, but wide open for the hidden, trick, high kick, that sent him to the ground.
Granted, I didnt see it live because there's just too much action, but after watching the replays, it was amazing to see how much planning/laying traps that TJ was doing in the mist of a crazy fight. The amount of multitasking and thinking/planning/executing that these "smarter" fighters are doing in the middle of the fight ie TJ, GSP, Conor (his wins), etc. is truely mesmerizing.
Wow so detailed and easy to learn thanx
Nice tattoo tj
Best tattoo in ufc

This is great you guys teaching now I'm pumped!!🤙🤙🤙
Great video, thank you for sharing the tips.
Very smooth how you threw that kick . SNAKELIKE in fact .

Thank you TJ. Awesome lessson I learnt there. That is why you the champ.
Being arrogant prick will will get you even less, you never know, maybe he has been looking to improve his low kicks but never knew how and this really helped, have you thought of it like that?
Eametsa yeah. what a bitch.
Its his last week :/ #AndNew
Patrik Novák what’s up bitch why you so quiet? It was Cody’s last week 😉
AJ RUMBLE 8 Why you so salty? 😀 Yeah he lost.. and what? 😀 I'm not gonna defend him he fucked up 😀 But he's gonna be back after one or two fights 😀 Looks like TJ fans are same dicks as he is 😀
Top level lesson for free thanks tg and also bang.
Exellent explanation Guys !!!
When TJ gets to like GSP age, he will be such a legendary coach. he has it all there already. calm, straight forward, no ego, fight smart. I will definitely try to get in at least one lesson with him in person
Great team!!
Thank you!
awesome content dude
Thanks TJ. Good tips. I'm gonna keep this is mind.
Love Tj. Awsome guy
He said about the eyes. In the first fight TJ looked low so cody moved back and he caught him with the high kick
Great stuff
Godlike footwork
Best advice in the world
Thank you ossss
Thankx TJ for the points I'm mma student who just looking to get better as artist and hopefully one day be in the UFC can you please do a video on footwork and how you use your fancy footwork please 🤙🏾✊🏾💪🏾
I missed watching TJ’s old Onnit videos where he did stuff like this.
Awesome !
the guy is a savage. and humble.
After watching this video figured id give it a shot.. now my grandma's in the hospital..
Thanks T.J.!!
Ludwig transformed TJ into a lethal fighting machine.
Where's the Ninja Bow and Salute 😂
Brandon To the powerstruggle has come to an end
Brilliant
TJ says that the technique to swing your arms when you throw your leg kicks is not efficient but if you look at the power Barboza and Gaethje generate from that it's crazy. You know it's coming but you can do very little to stop it imo.But each to their own.TJ does sound intelligent here though.
TAM with the 10 downvotes, yet they been watching this all week
Cheers champ!
Thank you TJ “GOAT”
Tj is so awesome I’d love to meet this dude
TJ A GREAT FIGHTER
Stephen Wonderboy Thompson did his first ever seminar in my gym and one of the best things I ever learnt about watching a world class fighter train is their technique. Like literally so on point, perfectly physically tuned technique ready to just go off any second. Feet always in the right position, efficient as anything. One thing he mentioned was not to telegraph your shots, same as TJ here
Thanks yo
Eye pokes straight ahead!!!
Very good
You're one of the best martial artists in the planet. I hope you don't fuck up the 1st round of your title defence like the 227 fight.
Tj has come so far, this content is a tad elementary but the basics win fights quite often. IMHO Tj has grown into one of the very best to compete in MMA. I'm always studying his movement even though I'm 210 lbs, it's still very inspiring.
Much credit to Ludwig as well 👍
TJ I know you probably won't see this but just in case I seen some guys when they play kick they point the two and some guys pull the toe back I noticed in the video you did both as well which is the best or proper way??
thanks champ. knout out cody again!!
very nice eye poking technique there mate!
This one video is worth hundreds of dollars in seminar knowledge.
Dwayne just pointing and nodding.Lets be real he has created a monster
Killashaw cut as fuck, the ideal body men should strive for.
damn i ve been kicking with that swinging arm motion for years i m trying it now and it s fucking up my balance haha will work on it
Nice
Yeah, Cody is in the back office at AphaFail central taking notes for sure.
Can you make a video on how to beat Cruz
Please
Thanks
Tj signature kick
When you kick low do you always keep you foot pointed upwards
RIGHT !
Holy shit, wish I was built like TJ!
what happens if your opponent throws a Oblique kick while your throw a leg kick?
Thanks for teaching cody here😂
Fire
Nice sleeve
Good luck champ
Bang has proven again he is one of the best striking coaches in the damn game. Like TJ or hate him, he is the GOAT at Bantamweight, and has an absolute super genius in his corner. He won't lose the belt again. He honestly never lost to Cruz, dude got robbed.
And still gets denied for a rematch. At this point, I don't think it'll ever happen. Sucks to have that on his record.
Great video but does the first one not just result in you eating a right hook?
Right.
ayyy tj got a new tattoo
#BangMuayThaiNeverDie
Comicstelling That sounds like something that "Let me bang bro" guy would say
Should make a “Tips on cheapshots”
mandingo muay thai at soi cowboy, thailand.
Hello idol T.J.
this is exactly what happened with the high kick. In the UFC analysis with Hardy, they show that tj is looking down on codys legs. Fake low go high -> knockdown. Cool stuff
Beat cody again teach him a lesson
iam champ already he got lesson
He just did 😂
He got wrecked his career is over
nice leg kick
ANDDDDD STILLLLLLLLL THE CHAMP
Ill use these tips for my next bum fight match,
Cool tattoo TJ
I would really like to train with you ...
TJ. simply the best
Nice can you do that on inside leg Kicks Too ?
m4hk5 for sure as a southpaw u can but are kind of limited to stepping off the the right getting your head off the center and then throwing the inside kick
TJ best
Im so hyped to see cody v tj 2 i want cody to win just so they can set up a trilogy
TJ picogram dilshaw
I want to train MMA with you pros to fight somebody in the octagon.
Right?
Talk about that kick you like to do where you dip your head down, like ducking a punch, & throw a high kick from that position. It’s tricky. It’s not the conventional roundhouse Muaythai kick.
tried this couldn't pull it off....forgot the EPO.
🐐
dillashank you going down
Damn just learned a good move as a southpaw
here after 2nd fight.
