- Is Goyard worth the investment? Today we're doing an in-depth review of the Goyard Artois MM Tote. I'm also comparing it against the Goyard St Louis and the Goyard Anjou and Anjou Mini. We'll get into the history of Maison Goyard, my Goyard Paris shopping experience as well as the pros and the cons of the bag and my honest thoughts!

It's never been Classic anything!
Tbh it's's hilarious all this -
& about this brand in particular!
There's very little difference between this
& LV😶💜 although even this is better quality than that (though we are grading on a curve here obvs; it's much of a muchness, altogether.)
A French Influencer mentioned that wealthy Parisians would never touch LV or similar & mentioned these (& sevl other Influencers copied her, as such types do)
& then le Toute Social Media have gone mad for them - like the ridiculous Clout Chasing Nouveaus that they are. Only SOME Parisian Influencers & Nouveaus use these - anybody who knows anything including anything about Luxury will quietly say if asked (Dont ask though; it's embarrassing to them & you, obvs) - that any discerning Parisian (& English Upper Class person or other European go to a certain street in Paris, Richemont or a certain few streets in England, Scotland, Switzerland or wherever; & buy Handmade Luxury Bags made of extremely good leather - & as always with everything they wear -
& with THE🔹️most minimalist branding possible🔹️
Logos - are Not Luxury - NEVER have been (& if you hv to
announce yourself with logos - well then you don't know Luxury)
The endless push for these is
really funny (& anybody in the Fashion Industry will tell you that the first Influencer to mention these in that context was getting a massive kickback from the brand🤭💜)
People who know Luxury & style
(& espc those discerning types amongst Parisians, English Upper
Classes & decent types from
Sweden, Switzerland, Finland et al)
would not touch any of this with
a barge pole🫣💜 Do you "Not
Realise" - that it is absolutely covered in Logos & that discerning types would Never buy anything with logos whatsoever?🤔💜 In actuality you will be v lucky to find even the briefest single metal accent of any discernable brand emblem & certainly a "logo!" On anything theywould wear - surely ppl over 17 know this (& I say this kindly)🙏💜🇬🇧💜
NB) this is the most successful & hilarious ruse since that Australian Ex-Ballet Dancer decided
to tell her viewers/the World that
the pink horse-y bottle (98% full of ambroxan + some (extremely cheap) synthetics altogether from her Boyfriend's "Brand" was a
"Niche" Parfum - & that it was
"The Best Niche Perfume!"😅💜
That worked pretty fast on
most of the World's Nouveaus
or wannabe Nouveaus also!
Now - go watch this back (& for the first time take a VERY goodlook at that not v good "Leather" & the cheap & extremely plastic-ky appearance of it - & how daylight (+ your ring light!) bounces off it - & realise when you hv been

Ageee with another commenter that Goyard is quiet. Sure it’s popular online now, but the pattern is very repetitive and not a name or a “G” for Goyard so I never really thought of it as a logo at all. I’m a bit surprised the pattern isn’t compelling to you as that’s what MAKES the bag for me. Otherwise it’s just fancy canvas plus a bit of leather. I’m in NYC and these have been popular for over 15-20 years here at least, and I’ve always thought of them as bold (in color) yet understated and definitely classy in its design.

ive been binging your videos lately and i love your content! if i may also share, the audio when you talk tends to go low and loud all of a sudden throughout your videos. it may help to invest in a good microphone to ensure consistent audio as you grow your channel. just a tip coming from an avid youtube watcher! but your content is honestly something i love to watch

Love this bag but haven’t added one yet. Just got a yellow mini Anjou and the dust bag fits perfectly inside and secures my items! I love my St. Louis pm for everyday!
This bag is a classic and staple. It will continue to rise in price. Enjoy it. It is quite understated and the general public have no idea what it is. If you are worrying about being judged, stick to a Primark handbag. Most people know Celine. If everything else you are wearing is simple, this handbag will appear chic. If you overload with a lot of other obvious labels and then it will look too much. It suits you and it’s better than the St Louis. 👌
Exactly the content I was looking for
I have an Anjou GM black tan because i love the goyard print but i might get tired of it someday 😅 I also have an Artois GM in white cause the pattern is lighter and much more subdued. I care because I take these bags for work/business travel but if i carried for personal time, I dont really care what others think, if they recognise the brand or nor. I bought them because I love them 😂
just bought this as well for my 30th! i think MM is too small for me ;( ...GM might be too big. I'm not sure what to do.

@@raisamartin Yes it’s a trend, but I think it won’t last. It’s ridiculous how normal people jump on the trend so they can pretend to be someone else, at the end it’s all about quality of items and it’s all pretty obvious to everyone. About the bag it looks pretty quite to me, but it’s a bit too structured for my liking, anyways enjoy it!
For those who are standing in line for the Goyard bags, they can come to my local TJ Maxx Runway or Nordstrom Rack 🤣because around the 1st quarter of last year, 2023, they had them for fair prices. Color blue, green, black. Honestly, I was shocked to see them in those stores around the same time. Yes, customers were buying them. Personally, I don't like the look of the bag. Your video, best and worst purchases of 2023, was recommended. After watching that video, I watched this one to know more about the bag, and thanks for the information.

They had real goyard artois bags in tj maxx?! Or was it smaller goyard accessories
@@user-yf5je1dn1q they were the tote bags. I don't know the actual names of the styes, but it was REAL Goyard totes (without the zipper), and some other smaller styles with zippers. Trust me, I was shocked. However some tjmaxx are "Runway stores" that carry some top designer items, such as Gucci etc
