As far as I know,my friend NICO was deeply connected to JIM MORRISON ,who was /is a great writer,poet and t h i n k e r .When she sings "Seinem G e i s t e bekenne ich mich" she might have thought more about him than anyone else ..❤
Maybe. But Morrison was still alive when this song was written, so it's more likely to be a farewell to Brian Jones who had died the year before.

Que buenisima canción, ya la habia oido previamente con Sopor Aeternus, pero la version original de Nico es maravillosa, el video es bueno tambien, si que transmite su emocion! .Thanks for share this nothingformeat!

@SkeeterNYC the funny thing is she claimed to have studied t the actors studio and Marilyn Monroe was in her class... but many say she maid that story up. And being a Marilyn and Nico fan, I was unable to spot Nico in any photos of Marilyn sitting amongst the other students
You had the same idea for a video as me, I was gonna start with the same scene except that I was gonna use Reve Reveille
I loved this song--inspired me to learn the language. When I was 18 I would have killed to see the movie too, but now, well, the snippets here just look kinda dumm. Garrel may have had some ideas, but he was such a stiff. And Nico seems more awkward on film than I would have imagined. The music still haunts though. Despite her physical beauty, I'd have to say that music was her metier.

Her hysteria seems very forced. I think she should have studied with Stella Adler (Brando) instead of Lee Strassberg. Or just stuck to modeling and singing. Of course most of Garrel's films are tedious and self indulgent.
it's just a scream. the scream of literature. We need to keep screaming! but we are tired.....
