Tour Du Mont Blanc - 100 Miles in 10 Days | A Father & Son Hiking Documentary

- Join my dad and I as we take on the "Tour Du Mont Blanc".
The TMB trail is a rewarding 100 mile loop running around the perimeter of "Mont Blanc", a mountain that spans across France, Italy, and Switzerland. Constant changes in elevation make for a tough hike, but the food and people along the trail make it worth all the struggle.
Completing this tour has been a dream for my dad and I'm honored I could be there to see him achieve it. I owe my spirit of adventure to him.
A big thank you to all the friends we made along the way. Finishing a long day of hiking around a table of happy people was the best part of the journey!

Bravo Dad! Fourth piece of advice- don't do this in early June (how do I know) as there are some bridges missing and the refuges aren't open. Luckily, I was camping....
Very well done !! I start the TMB in 5 days. I wasn’t going to dress that warm for July but after seeing this video I think I need to add a jacket.
A warm jacket and sweat or track pants for the night highly recommend. Good luck and have fun.

As a fellow one time 14 mile hiker, this definitely made me want to go do the Tour du Mont Blanc!! Such a sick watch, the beautiful shots, editing, banter, and Tim’s narration had me smiling the whole time, definitely my favorite film you’ve made. Bien joué frérot!

LOVED the video but where was mum - oh right, she was filming every step of the way!!! lol. Tim you have not aged at all - fricken awesome and loved the bond you both have. Mont Blanc was on my bucket list but you lost me at the step ladder on day one :)) To the both of you, I'm lost for words thats so impressive !!

Super fun video! My daughter (24), me, her mom (64) will be doing this in Sept 2024. I can't wait, but the terrain coming off those ladders at the end freak me out. I am not scared of the ladders, nor of heights it is a vertigo like issue stepping funny on those metal grates, so I guess I will have to "think like a mountain goat", to get across them without falling, because that would ruin the last day...! Thanks for a fun video, Kudos to your dad, must have been painful for him with his ankle issue.

@@nick.goudie, hahahahaha! My packing list includes a "bottle" filled with fondue to suck on during the day, while my daughter carries the bread to munch between "sips". I can't wait!!!
