I haven't seen or heard much of dental care in beardies in all of my 3+years of research. I lost my 2 year old beardie due to (what I have learned, their teeth & jaw are one piece, not separated) and she had a massive buildup of tartar, which hurt her, in addition, she had a hard lump on her jaw that the vet suspected was cancer. I need these care guides to include dental care (feeding raw squash and hard veggies to clean their teeth). I ended up syringe feeding her for weeks and "brushing" her teeth with a cotton swab with special tooth cleaner from the vet. We had hoped to save her, but after 2 weeks of treatment, she didn't resume eating on her own and it was best to put her down. She did everything else normal (poop, etc.) she just wouldn't eat on her own. As for the teeth & jaw, as one, I had a baby that had her teeth/jaw disconnected and the vet told me it was hereditary (or a birth defect). I also syringe fed her chicken baby food & Pedialyte until I noticed her teeth/jaw loose and just hanging there. I was devastated, she was my 1st beardie. Anyhow, if you would try to do a video on dental care, I would appreciate it. I had to learn the hard way and I did get another beardie and have changed things WAY better (I hope). Awesome video brother. Love the channel. Keep it up. 1 small caveat....the "budget" 120gallon is NOT 120 gallons. If you're gonna link/suggest it to people, you should inform them that it's only 88.1 gallons
Are you measuring inside or outside? Because I don’t think any tank inside measure true 120 dimensions. All tanks usually measure outside measurements. As you see the custom reptile habitats is smaller inside by 2 inches due to the frame. Actually measuring 47x22x22 inside.
However thank you as always. It technically is 120 just small on the inside which most enclosures all fall into that as well. The new Dubia enclosures v2 ones actually get as close as any on the market though. They increased the outside size by a half inch. Which I also have link on my storefront as well as the zen habitats
I bought the budget option last year, through Wayfair during the July 4th sale. I paid $203 each & bought the stacker. As soon as they restock the cabinet, with the two enclosures & the stacker I’m going to buy another set since I have a 3rd beardie I took as a rescue that needs an upgrade soon. Anywho those budget ones are FANTASTIC. They have GLASS sliding REMOVABLE doors! Which are great for cleaning! I have no problems with my heated side & cooler side. I do need a solar meter. But my dragons are doing great.
Love your videos! Def helped us set things up for the Rankins drag we picked up at a local Herp Expo! Everything I’ve read says their care and behavior is same as their larger cousins but was wondering if you had any other insight or random info?
Mercury vapor is the second best option the only problem is that the uvb is inconsistent bulb per bulb. I always recommend a solar meter when using it. That’s why I don’t recommend to new keepers just cause it’s very inconsistent but it does produce great uvb just might produce way too much or maybe to low for certain heights
I do change them out ever 6 months or so. I like them due to the fact they are a all-in-one. I have read that with tube lighting, they can't get away from it and can get too much. With MV, they can be in it and can also get away from it. I DO respect ones choice and have nothing against tube, it is just what I found and prefer. Just like I don't feed crickets because, from what I learned, they can carry disease (and gnaw at your pet at night, ick). I prefer to grow my own dubia and order mealworms, etc, from a trusted source. Bottom line here: I may choose to use MVB, but I have seen a whole lot worse!!! Thanks for your reply! Also, if you tell me to take the crickets out before bed...good luck! Her enclose is 5x3x2 with a lot of deco! No thanks! I don't know if I left a comment, so I will start a new thread, about beardie dental care. (Video suggestion).@@ChiefSweetsUniverse
@@EmzNotBroken1972the tube ones are much easier to deal with then the mercury vapor. They put out consistent UVB and with a solar meter you know exactly how much at any spot in your setup. You also only get one that no more the. 2/3s of your setup so they have 1/3 without UVB. I honestly think anyone who owns a beardie should own a solar meter. It’s the best tool I’ve bought since started getting into reptiles. Expensive but the peace of mind is worth it.
@@NerdyOutdoorVeteran It depends on your enclosure. I have had very good luck with using them, because they are what I've always used. It's like a lot of things, you use what you start with and change isn't an option because you feel what you are doing is best. Certainly I won't use coil or red lights, but some people do because that's what they know. To each their own, really. Thanks for your input.
i have 2 bearded dragons and a leopard gecko. my youngest beardie just died (i used to have 3) who was only 1 yr old but had a respiratory infection so im re-educating myself to make sure my older beardies stay ok🥺 im realizing i screwed up by not feeding my younger one enough.
My bearded dragon will only eat hornworms and Dubai roaches.. even though he has varying foods, from fruit and leaves to crickets and roaches- but he just doesnt seem to want to eat them. He absolutely loves his hornworms and Dubai roaches though, and im just glad hes not starving himself. Im concerned at his lack of energy too, feel like they are naturally supposed to be energetic but he hasnt really been energetic even as a baby- well, he has a bit, like running around in his cage and stuff but hes gradually gotten less energetic to the point where he's only moving for water and food. I know he isnt stressed or anything because his beard isn't black, and i think thats what they do when they are stressed.
I just got my baby bearded dragon he’s bonded with me but he’s not really eating. He’s drinking when I take the Seren to him, he is drinking. He’s showing all signs of being healthy. Besides not eating he was eating when I first got him and then he went five days without eating. I finally got him to eat a little tiny piece of yellow yellow squash, and now again he won’t eat is that normal?
Do baby/juvenile beardies actually “overgrow” if they’re kept in a large tank? We wanted a 40 gallon to start but the petsmart employee talked us into a 20 gallon because they were worried he’d overgrow if given too much space.
Awesome video. I have a tortoise who I got at 3 months old and he just turned 5 years old. He lives like a king. I’ve been interested in bearded dragons for a long time so have finally started researching to determine if it would be a good fit for me. Your video is incredibly thorough and helpful. I took lots of screenshots. I will look through more of your videos and have subscribed. I would like to ask though, do you have an opinion on where the enclosure should be kept? For tortoises, they kind of like to be left alone. You wouldn’t want to put the enclosure in a high traffic area. Would it be the same for a beardy or would it add enrichment to their life to be in a lived in space? I live alone, so not much movement in the house, but just something I’m curious about. I’m happy to see that the UVB requirements are the same for my tortoise as it is for the bearded dragons. I also have the solar meter for measuring UV, so it was helpful to learn from your video, what reading I should aim for. Thanks again for the great video!!
I have a question the employees at my local petco say it’s best to buy calcium with d3 for a bearded dragon and I recently got a new bearded dragon a few weeks ago she’s a young juvenile but I bought her with a starter kit and the starter kit already came with calcium without d3 I bought the zoo med t5 uvb thing but should I keep giving her the calcium without d3
It doesn’t matter really cause she’ll be making her own d3 with the zoo med t5. But with dragons when you have good uvb use without d3. As dragons won’t absorb d3 until they have good uvb. But when they get good uvb they make their own d3 naturally so that’s why it doesn’t matter
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse also I have a quick question about the substrate I have my bearded dragon In a 20 gallon I know it’s very small for a juvenile I already bought a 40 gallon but I haven’t move her yet into the 40 gallon but Im planning to do that during Christmas when I get all her new supplies but I was wondering if excavator clay can be used alone as a single substrate because my bearded dragon likes to try to dig but she can’t since I have her on a desert mat it’s like carpet but it like rocks stacked on to a mat and I am planning on buying excavator clay for her to burrow will it work or do I need the buy other substrates to mix into the clay to make a burrowing substrate
Hi!! I’m researching and filling my brain with as much information as possible before I even think about getting a beardie and you have been helping so much, I was just curious on if you keep the led light on 24/7 or just during the day, also what do I do for the heat lamp at night? I’ve heard to get a red light one for night time but I don’t know if they are safe and I’m not sure if I keep the heat lamp/ubv on 24/7 too
dont do red light was told the same the first night seen he was doing some weird stuff so i removed it and he was way better.. but honestly i turn my lights on in the morning about 7 and turn everthing off about 10 right now and the tank stays about 75 at night. here in a couple months ill switch the time to keep up with the way the sun is up and down
Love your channel- getting my first baby from a trusted breeder- question: blank newspaper or Playsand/topsoil for baby’s substrate? And how do you clean the “dirt” mix properly? Can you show a video of this? You Rock!!
To start just use blank news paper or paper towels so you can make sure it’s eating & pooping properly. Once you are sure it’s pooping consistently then do a mix of play sand & dirt. I kept my beardies on paper towels for a couple months. Just because they were small and I didn’t want them to accidentally eat dirt & then get impacted.
Appreciate you a lot! Now I myself have always put my babies on playsand and top soil after 1 month old with no issues. Also yes I actually have that cleaning video lined up to hopefully get posted this month
Arcadia 12% or 14% t5 24 inch uvb kit I would mount it inside the tank as the dubias screen blocks too much. You can also use the zoo med t5 24 inch 10.0 uvb
We have 1 bearded dragon and looking to breed just 1 primary food source. Don’t care for the idea of crickets so would Dubia Roaches be the next best?? From my understanding any worms should be like treats and not a primary food source. I go thru great extents to make sure there’s no bugs in or even in my yard so the thought of buying bugs and housing them inside my house is giving me anxiety already lol
If you have a solar meter you can definitely use them. But other than that hard because uvb can be wayyy too strong at the basking spot when trying to get good temps
Hi there. I’m just learning all about dragons. I have a 65 gallon terrarium and wondered if the 24” and watt your suggesting in this video would be good for that size tank. I also noticed you had two basking bulbs, are they 50 watt each or 100 watt each. I just want to make sure I get what I need. Thanks for your time.
I agree with him don’t give your bearded dragon too much fruits because giving them too much fruits is the same equivalency of feeding them blue horned caterpillars every day
Hi, I saw the guide says to use the Arcadia 12% for a 40 gallon tank, and a 14% for a 120 gallon. But what if you have the in between size? Our tank is going to be 48x18x18. So do we go with the 12% or the 14%? And it shows 3 choices a 22" (24W), 34" (39W), and 46" (54W). Which bulb should I get? And should I mount it inside the tank, or set it on top? Thank you in advance!
The 12% will be perfect for that if the screen isn’t too thick. Thick screens can be a problem and if it’s thick I would get the 14% also the 22 inch is fine
Bearded dragons need a basking lamp throughout the day. The ceramic bulbs Heat the air and don’t provide a basking area for them. Ceramics can be good for snakes and other non basking Reptiles. But they shouldn’t be used as the main heating source with Bearded dragons.
Hello, thank you for your info, we brought a full set up from reptile centre and the they have given us a “Reptile Systems Eco T5 Unit Ferguson Zone 3 - 12%” is this ok?
I got the starter kit from petsmart 40 gal tank.. should I ditch the lights they came with and get all new ones? Or should i just get the uvb one in addition
Good question usually if you can smell it they can most stuff is ok besides some stuff but my wife has burned candles for years and my dragons never seem to be bothered. As long as it’s not super smoky it’s ok. Essential oils may be different that’s a little more heightened for them and they may react to it. Again though I’ve never experienced anything with it. I know the internet says it’s harmful but I’ve yet to find any evidence than just hearsay. I’ve experienced candles and in scents being burned around dragons and they didn’t seem to care at all. I think most people do get scared and let that guide their actions. I would say it’s up to you really and if you are scared if you do it in a different room than them it’ll definitely be fine as people do that with no issues as well
Hi chiefsweet I was wondering if you could help me idk if my bearded dragon is dehydrated I’ve been giving her water but her belly flaps things aren’t going away but just in case should I put a water bowl in her terrarium?
My beardie loves to drink when I give her a bath. If I notice her looking dehydrated I bath her. Usually 2 or 3 times a month. I'm definitely not an expert just saying what works for us! Also just an FYI chiefsweetsuniverse knows his stuff!! He helped me with tons of amazing advice it ended up saving my beardies life! I owe it all to him!! ❤💛💚
I’m new to this this may sounds dumb but does it matter if you have you uav light near your basking lights ? And if I have 20 gal tank and want to get the t5 will that be to much uav
Yes! Naturally the highest you see is 15.0 in the wild beardies usually hide during these times because it’s the hottest time of the year and the sun is blasting. But average summer spring uvi readings are around 3.0-10.0. Some uvb lamps if too close can give super high readings dangerous would be like double the sun exposure at the peak of summer.
8:22 I notice there is a lamp off to the left by its self what lamp is that just another LED? If I am understanding the 24” uvb lamp and the led long lamp you got from Walmart go on the same side, along with 2 basking lamps . In total I was counting 5 lamps: 4 on one side and 1 on the other. Is that right?
@@user-ix4xo7cv8p oh yes that’s just another led daylight bulb. Haha. So I use two basking bulbs. A uvb. A led. But sometimes I do use two LEDs as well.
Yeah you mean like the shorter version like a 4ftx2ftx18inch tall one. That’ll be fine I know for super cold places you have to make adjustments and as long as the animal is happy that’s all that matters
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse I have a follow up today, they free abit of juice from it 2 weeks ago and it was inconclusive, they wanna check to see if it’s cancerous, but tbh to the touch it’s hard!
I like the 8 inch wide ones the best however you know I do really like the dual mini dome from zoo med. I use two 75 watt bulbs to get a nice gradient.
Haha true it does remind me of obi wan. Its bad just because it binds with calcium and they can’t absorb calcium so it isn’t like toxic is just most dragons in captivity are low on calcium so you don’t want stuff that will not let them absorb it. However since we are getting better uvb dragons are getting great levels and giving it once a month isn’t that bad.
Both of those links for the 120 gallon enclosures aren't available. My son really wants one so if anyone has any recommendations for a budget friendly 120 gallon enclosure please let me know.
Two questions- do you recommend “soaking” baby and/or adult bearded dragons? I saw Zoomed Electrolyte Soak -is this needed ? Second question- what do you recommend as far as cleaning products for tank? You seem recommend Fluker’s products. I found Fluker’s Super Scrub Reptile Cleaner - is this something recommend? Also, if you could put recommended products on your Amazon list so you can get commission would be great!
Also yes all products on my list all give me commission so it helps me and helps others. I can put some nice very good get cleaning products on it as well but most of the time I just use hot water to clean the things I have.
It truly depends on what the basking temp is under the 150 watt. Get a temp gun and measure the basking spot if it’s between 105-110f it’s perfect but if it’s higher than that lower it to 100 watts
I hope I can get some feedback!! My beardie has had a dark beard since I got him(3 mos ago).I notice it gets lighter sometimes but always has a greyish undertone..they told me he is a brick red. His husbandry I believe is up to par as well as diet! Thanks to your videos! 😊Is he unhappy or are some beardies just like that?? Please help!!!!
If you want to message me on Instagram or discord and send some pics of his beard I’d love to take a look. He could have something that a vet may need to prescribe him like a small infection or something as well. I’ve seen some dragons with illnesses like that need some antibiotics and there beard went back to normal.
Hey, I have a problem with temperatures in my tank. Since I changed the useless UVB lamp to T5 39W, the temperature in the “cold” area, where it should be around 28C, is now 30-32! I assume that it can be because the height of the terrarium is only 50 cm, not 60. In that case, what can you suggest? I was thinking about another T5, but now 24W, not 39W and only above the heat spot, because the 39W is around 85 cm long, when the tank has 120 cm. Thanks a lot! And also, if I understand correctly, for 120x50x50, the 14% should be better instead of 12 even if the than is only 50cm height ?

I use Mercury Vapor Bulbs and have no problems!
Wondering if you have a bearded dragon video about taming or handling your bearded dragon?
Will have one soon as of right now I do not.
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse okay thank you! Love your videos and I’ll be on the lookout
As babies they are energetic but as adults they get very lazy.
Thx so much
Happy to help!
Your videos are the best we just got a bearded dragon today. I was wondering how big of a uvb light for a 75 gallon
Thank you! Depends on height of the tank. If it’s 18-24 inches. Arcadia 12% t5 24-36 inches
Thanks for the great information..
No problem!
Thank you so much for the video!
No problem!
Great vid helped a lot thanks👍
Happy to help!
Went to petland the other day only had the damn heating lamp for them! No uvb light at all !
Whoa that’s crazy!
Bro you was so helpful
Thank you happy to help
Is a 18" long enough for a 48" enclosure?
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse thank you
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse also I have a quick question about the substrate I have my bearded dragon In a 20 gallon I know it’s very small for a juvenile I already bought a 40 gallon but I haven’t move her yet into the 40 gallon but Im planning to do that during Christmas when I get all her new supplies but I was wondering if excavator clay can be used alone as a single substrate because my bearded dragon likes to try to dig but she can’t since I have her on a desert mat it’s like carpet but it like rocks stacked on to a mat and I am planning on buying excavator clay for her to burrow will it work or do I need the buy other substrates to mix into the clay to make a burrowing substrate
Hi!! I’m researching and filling my brain with as much information as possible before I even think about getting a beardie and you have been helping so much, I was just curious on if you keep the led light on 24/7 or just during the day, also what do I do for the heat lamp at night? I’ve heard to get a red light one for night time but I don’t know if they are safe and I’m not sure if I keep the heat lamp/ubv on 24/7 too
dont do red light was told the same the first night seen he was doing some weird stuff so i removed it and he was way better.. but honestly i turn my lights on in the morning about 7 and turn everthing off about 10 right now and the tank stays about 75 at night. here in a couple months ill switch the time to keep up with the way the sun is up and down
@@butterthystuff117 okay thank you
Love your channel- getting my first baby from a trusted breeder- question: blank newspaper or Playsand/topsoil for baby’s substrate?
Thank you so much!!❤
Thanks!

Hi
Hi
So we put our Arcadia, zoomed and LED at one spot?
Yes you got it!
I loved you’re video it answered so many questions but I still have one question. Are screen cage ok to used for a bearded dragon?
Sorry I forgot do I need to mist my bearded dragon for humidity and is so how often and how long
How do you feel about taking you beardie outside to run around. or letting them come in and out of their terrarium? (mind ALWAYS under supervision.)
Yeah you definitely can just keep an eye on them at all times
Are flukers canned insects good for bearded dragons?
We got the Dubia tank and I couldn't get enough info off your mention of the UVB bulb for it. Can you please let me know which it is?
Understandable yes dubia roaches would be your best bet
What about excersize
You can take them out and let them run around your house as long as you don’t have cats or dogs or anything else that could hurt them
Can a bearded dragon have too much UVB?
What is your opinion on mercury vapor bulbs? I’m new to beardies I keep dart frogs and geckos lol but, planning on surprising hubby cause he love them
If you have a solar meter you can definitely use them.
Please, what's the difference between t5 and t8 hood light?
The size of the bulb but t5s produce strong uvb than t8s
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse thank you! 🦎
I agree with him don’t give your bearded dragon too much fruits because giving them too much fruits is the same equivalency of feeding them blue horned caterpillars every day
Do I turn the heat lamp and lights off at night? My son is taking care of his class pet (bearded dragon) She is older
Oh yes all lights off at night
Im currently building a custom 5x24x24 enclosure for my sons first bearded dragon. Is there a reason why you dont prefer the ceramic heat bulbs?
They don’t heat as well as regular bulbs and don’t give off light making the tank darker. I don’t like my tanks dark plus beardies love brighter tanks
Bearded dragons need a basking lamp throughout the day. The ceramic bulbs Heat the air and don’t provide a basking area for them. Ceramics can be good for snakes and other non basking Reptiles. But they shouldn’t be used as the main heating source with Bearded dragons.
Question - my tank for my bearded dragon has humidity 50%. Taken out water bowl with no improvement. Any suggestions ?
can i scoop up fine sand from a dried up river bed
Yeah totally
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse thanks for the quick answer, I saw some people online saying you can just scoops up any sand/soil
Hello, thank you for your info, we brought a full set up from reptile centre and the they have given us a “Reptile Systems Eco T5 Unit
Ferguson Zone 3 - 12%” is this ok?
Yes this one is actually ok newer to the UVB game but just as good
Why no ceramic heat emitters?
I got the starter kit from petsmart 40 gal tank.. should I ditch the lights they came with and get all new ones? Or should i just get the uvb one in addition
Get the uvb one and replace the uvb it came with with a daylight led bulb
Hey!! I wanted to ask if having incense, candles, wax burner, or essential oil humidifier in the same room is ok with the bearded dragon??
Good question usually if you can smell it they can most stuff is ok besides some stuff but my wife has burned candles for years and my dragons never seem to be bothered. As long as it’s not super smoky it’s ok. Essential oils may be different that’s a little more heightened for them and they may react to it. Again though I’ve never experienced anything with it. I know the internet says it’s harmful but I’ve yet to find any evidence than just hearsay. I’ve experienced candles and in scents being burned around dragons and they didn’t seem to care at all. I think most people do get scared and let that guide their actions. I would say it’s up to you really and if you are scared if you do it in a different room than them it’ll definitely be fine as people do that with no issues as well
What about the solar glow or power sun for uvb..
Hey there! So do you have 100 watt each so a total of 200watt basking bulbs?
Yes but you really only need to get the desired temp then you’ll be good
is it ok not to have any thing at the bottom of the tank?
Like no dirt? Yeah that’s ok but you do want plenty of branches.
I grow my own blueberries can I feed those
Very rarely as they are high in sugar. Like once every two months
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse thanks but one question. When is your next dang video!
Hi chiefsweet I was wondering if you could help me idk if my bearded dragon is dehydrated I’ve been giving her water but her belly flaps things aren’t going away but just in case should I put a water bowl in her terrarium?
Definitely put the water bowl in the tank. You can drip some water and see if she is interested
thank you I was getting a little worried about her
My beardie loves to drink when I give her a bath. ❤💛💚
@@sommaluv ok I’ll try that to thanks
Is MBD something that only happens when they are young, or can they develop it when they are adults n stop growing?
I bought the repti zoo t5 will it be ok till I get the money for the Arcadia or zoo med
It’ll get you by for now yeah but try and get a zoo med t5 10.0 t5 soon.
My mom says if I can keep consistently cleaning my leopard gecko tank I can get a bearded dragon
I’m new to this this may sounds dumb but does it matter if you have you uav light near your basking lights ? And if I have 20 gal tank and want to get the t5 will that be to much uav
Can you use bioactive substrate or other sand substrate for baby or juvenile dragons or stick with paper towels/ tile/ or zen mat stuff???
Yes I use substrate as soon as my hatched babies are 1 month old
Could you ever have too much uvb?
My bearded I've had for 3 days from petsmart would it be OK to change the floor to sand/soil this soon to get away from fake grass carpet
Yeah would be totally fine to do.
Do you have a picture of the top of your cage where your lights are positioned
Is 8:37 what you are referring to by chance?
8:22 I notice there is a lamp off to the left by its self what lamp is that just another LED? If I am understanding the 24” uvb lamp and the led long lamp you got from Walmart go on the same side, along with 2 basking lamps .
In total I was counting 5 lamps: 4 on one side and 1 on the other. Is that right?
@@user-ix4xo7cv8p oh yes that’s just another led daylight bulb. Haha. So I use two basking bulbs. A uvb. A led. But sometimes I do use two LEDs as well.
I live in a cold state and I was wondering if it's okay to have a 90 gallon tank to make sure I have good heat especially during winter time?
Yeah you mean like the shorter version like a 4ftx2ftx18inch tall one. That’ll be fine I know for super cold places you have to make adjustments and as long as the animal is happy that’s all that matters
If I were to make side walls for my dragon, do I have to use a specific spray foam or any kind of foam if I'm coating it with sand?
I prefer the pond and stone it’s the best. The regular great stuff is good.
My Beardie will be 4 tomorrow, he recently grew a mass over his shoulder, any idea what it could be ?
Sometimes it’s a tumor a vet can help ya there. They can drain it or remove it

Hi Chief just want to ask what light fixture is best to use, 5inch wide or 8 inch wide? Deep Dome or the shallow one? Thanks in advance
By the way i have 36x18x18 enclosure form New Age Pet ECOFLEX Mojave Reptile Habitat
I like the 8 inch wide ones the best however you know I do really like the dual mini dome from zoo med. I use two 75 watt bulbs to get a nice gradient.
I was told spinach is bad for them 😮
When they wave it reminds me of Obe Won "these r not the droids u r looking for." Lol

If they are dirty like ran through there poop then yes other than that no real reason too.
Also yes all products on my list all give me commission so it helps me and helps others. I can put some nice very good get cleaning products on it as well but most of the time I just use hot water to clean the things I have.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the input!
Is 150 watt basking too much for 75 gallons or can that burn him? My house stays consistently in the low 70's
It truly depends on what the basking temp is under the 150 watt. Get a temp gun and measure the basking spot if it’s between 105-110f it’s perfect but if it’s higher than that lower it to 100 watts
I have had reptizoo for a long time should I upgrade or keep it
Upgrade it for sure
And also, if I understand correctly, for 120x50x50, the 14% should be better instead of 12 even if the than is only 50cm height
