💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the 🔔 for more videos!

"Rose gold" is absolutely how I'd describe the look of that ribbon candy. I'd actually just ordered for the first time after watching this channel for several years now and since the "sour apple caramel ribbon candy" I wanted was sold out, I ordered this instead. It's amazingly good.
Also ordered a ruby chocolate bar and a bag each of both the tie die and ghost pepper hard candies. They're all amazingly good as well, and I'll certainly spread your good vibes as best I can!

I have lots of practice making hard candies and chocolate. If you ever want to expand to a new location and open a store in Buffalo, NY, I'm 100% your guy. I just need to be shown your batching process and I'd be happy to even make some as an interview of sorts. Just saying, it's a good idea to me. I haven't had the chance to make candy in a decade, but I'd absolutely love to! Although I know you'll never actually see this....

I have no idea how I ended up on this video, but it falls nicely into what I like to call the Bob Ross Genre of "people who are good at what they do making it look easy." The kind of thing that you *know* takes years of experience and hard work to build up the kind of skills that make it seem so effortless.

To me the difference of CARamel and CARAmel is CARamel is solid form its a chunk and CARAmel slides off the tongue like sweet liquid.
CARamel is hard and or chewy and CARAmel is liquid like honey or soft butter 🤷🏻♀️

The caramel looks like peanut butter. Made me think Green Apple flavor filled with peanut butter might be good! Have it be a pretty green color with brown stripes in it. You may have made it before, but it’s one I missed possibly.

At the end of the video you said you'll have to check it to make sure it's not poison. My dad used to say that all the time. Every time my sister and I would get popcorn or candy or a treat of some kind he'd want a piece of it cuz he had to check and make sure that it wasn't poison. That made me laugh so hard when you said that.
Ya never can be too careful! And sometimes it's hard to taste poison so you need a couple servings to be sure 😂
