the second season of ellen had the highest rating 16 . yet they get rid of adam and give ellen less make love interests in 3 to 5th season. they should kept it like they did the second season . it might not have ever reached seinfeld popularity but maybe could hit 7 or 8 seasons
iam not homophobic but when we have a seinfeld type sitcom were people laugh and social issues are presented for four years people are not going to take the change. imagine how long how i met your mother would last if they turned barney stitson gay i know before her coming out the ratings were dipping but they should just reused same stuff from season 2. i thought the sstuff about ellen trying make her store a hit was interesting but she had some male love interests like she did in season 2. ellen cousin never should came in .
it was actually birdcage and my best friend wedding that allowed will and grace to air.

This is before Ellen got too big for her britches and was nice to people.

Definitely a bad recording/upload. TV did not look this fuzzy in the '90s.
