those rotators are so awesome. Glad I don't get the bill for that recovery but it was done perfectly with no damage. Not even a pad under the outriggers and not a mark on the pavement. the weight must really be transferred to the boom well. beautiful day to be out on a recovery not rain and or mud.

I never seen anyone so relaxed running a 75 ton rotator. And d lifting a trailer then swinging it out of a bad situation. Another great day at the office for Rick. And BTW, the beard doesn't make the man. The man makes the beard.
Exactly, if the beard works for your image keep it. I had one back in my late 20's/early 30's and lost it in a long hot summer. Now after a stay in hospital it's back at long last; no longer dark but salt & pepper color 🙂Love seeing that rotator working BTW.

Truck and trailer configurations are different to what we see here in NZ,where it would be a 6x4 truck and a 3 axel trailer shorter drawbar or a 8 wheeler truck(tip truck) with a 4 axel trailer short draw bar and the latest is 5 axel trailers .
Every possible combo to get maximum load weights for efficient transportation of bulk goods,stone,sand ,grains,and then the same configuration for the freight trucks ,there are certainly different ways to haul stuff here compared to the USA . Australia has even bigger set ups with their Road Trains and B-Train units .

That's a WCSG transfer out of Thermal. I drove a transfer for them out of Lakeside for a couple years . I went to another company and drove for another 14 years. Never got one stuck like that. Really enjoyed driving transfers !

Laugh, very often we worked with 500 - 1000 ton mobile cranes, also crawler cranes, how else could we assemble 10 tons at a height of over 200 meters (656 ft) and that at wind speeds of 10 - 15 m/sec.

I lost my mullet when the nurses last year put it in a bun, and i got tired of having my head sticking out, so off went my mullet. Right now, i barely have hair due to chemotherapy

Why is the beard always on the table to be removed?
I brush it for 10 minutes wash it for 5 minutes condition it for 5 minutes everyday for the past 8 years (if I don’t it dreads) that’s a total of 20 minutes a day, 2 hours and 20 minutes a week, 5 days a year, and 1 month a week and 3 days over the past 8 years just to look magnificent, it’s not worth it
