- We're thrilled to share something special we've been working on. A top hair brand approached us with a unique challenge: create a 3D animation that's less about the product and more about connecting with their audience on a deeper level. Challenge accepted!
It's a captivating story about a young African girl and her dream. It's not just an animation; it's a journey through hopes, dreams, and the beauty of aspirations.
🌟 At Moov Studio, we're passionate about crafting stories that touch hearts and minds. Whether it's 2D or 3D, we aim to blend emotional storytelling with artistic excellence.

Good short film, but what happened to the audio?
What a pity that happened, I thought it was my PC, until I saw your comment
This is a beautiful story that really speaks to the power that hair has within a culture, and how it can bring people together and affect one’s confidence. Great job 🎉❤
😍😍😍….Wish That Beautiful Hair Could Be Done & Still Be On Time For That Audition😂🤣 ✨BEAUTIFULLY DONE✨🙏🏾💖🧚🏾✨💫
🔥🔥🔥
Audio disappear at 1:50 until 2:07 and then again at 2:38 until 2:54 .....
Beautiful! Enough said!
Love it. Simple but strong storytelling with a point! Well done team. CHEERS!!!
Why can’t we teach our daughters that the talents they have naturally extend to the natural inside and out…. Braids yes …extension s no✌🏽♥️😇
We can also teach our daughters that no matter what they choose (extensions, wigs, natural) it doesnt define who they are and their self worth. We need to teach our daughters to not rely so much on how others think they should present themselves.
@@oraclesofthemoirai4258 Everytime extension s are put in a child’s hair beyond aesthetics for cancer or burn victims what do you think your telling that child?
Malcolm X said it better ….. who taught you to hate yourself”
1:50 to 2:07, theres no audio. Im not sure if this was intentional or not, but even then, the animation is flawless and the story is very inspring. Im in love!!
And another at 2:38 to 2:54
Probably a copyright issue
so cute love the artstyle as well!!
Wooow
beautiful
Beautifully done but too bad the audio kept cutting in and out around 1:49 and 2:43. The music is incredible!
literally amazing??? so underrated!! I feel like the writing could be better though... I feel like just having a different hair cut is kind of a weird moral? Feel free to explain. Also what's with the audio?
Good question! The moral isn’t about a different hairstyle. Her confidence faltered, and then to top it off, the rain ruined her braids. There’s such a connection, at least in the black community (possibly others but I’m speaking from my own experience) with hair and confidence. Not to mention the braids were installed by her mother as an act of love before she left for America. So she’s alone in a foreign country, losing confidence, with ruined hair. The lady in the salon giving her a new style was not only about re-instilling confidence, but also connecting her to a sense of home.
Natural hairstyles are one of the few things that Black women from many different nationalities can relate to. We’re pretty much the only ones with that tight coily pattern en masse. Feeling more connected to her culture, she was able to draw on that to push through the audition.
Hope that context is more helpful!
