  • After spending so much time in Georgia and sponsoring dogs from Georgia to get them safely adopted out on the East Coast, we felt very strongly about going to meet some of the adopters and rescue groups that were taking these dogs in. We didn’t feel like this journey could be complete without seeing the whole picture.
Visiting animal advocates and rescue organizations in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey shows us how much work is being done in each state to help homeless dogs and dogs who are victims of abuse and neglect. It shows us that more help is needed because the homeless dog crisis is a national crisis and these innocent beings depend on Humans to be their voice. We are motivated by the actions being taken on the East Coast to move the needle in a positive direction. Organizations such as A Darrah Bull Bully Rescue, New York City Second Chance Rescue, Husky House New Jersey to name a few, are making a huge impact in our country. East Coast organizations are bringing about a lot of positive and forward thinking change to animal welfare. You don't want to miss this episode and what's to come.
This documentary series highlights the amazing, grass-roots work that people are doing to save and improve the lives of dogs in need all over this country. Through their stories and actions, we will show you what change looks like and what the sheer power of will and desire - not just money - can achieve. Throughout the season you see us take part in the actions that are saving dog lives. We volunteer, donate, foster, transport and advocate for new legislation. Every episode will leave the viewer feeling hopeful, inspired, educated and empowered. This is how we affect positive change and create the tipping point in our society: one story at a time.
