I forgot to mention the barrel and grip attachment included with the Stryfe for $30. le whoops.
We know now though, so it's all good
Its ok
Coop772 its okay we all make mistakes ;-;
Thx Coop772
Nah, you cool. We all sometimes forget about stuff
I remember when I first found this channel and Frank was this seemingly skittish, nervous guy just starting out. And he just improved steadily over time into this meticulous, confident, and concise, professional. You'd swear he made the damn toys with how outstanding his presentation is. Like listen to that refined ass vernacular talking about some damn Nerf blasters. It's just incredible.
I don't even buy Nerf stuff, I just love this channel.
Thanks, bro :)
I found this channel at the same time (this is a different channel as I forget everything from my old channels and new phone) and I watched until like 5 months ago as my phone broke and I couldn’t afford a new one then when I found all this channel at this point I snapped out and was quiet for a straight hour then started watching the videos from where I missed and yeah he started out like that and kinda shy and as the years went on he got more confident and became more of the Frank we know today and that is what progress is and you did it well Frank.
I found coop when I got my thunder hawk :D
@@Coop772 u mean thanks...

I like how the budget line is considerably better than elite 2.0 . What a time to be alive.
It’s the same quality, but 2.0 isn’t a budget series so it costs the normal prices :/
@@moothman82 well, at least it is not glued and sold for high prices.

This is Sgt. Franklin Coop briefing fresh conscripts about a wartime Stryfe made in a rush, streamline production mode for WW3 (2020, colorized)
And later briefs recruits on how to identify commies.

So like a nerf gewehr 1-5
I don’t under stand
Elijah Phillips it’s a reference to the Germans and Japanese during WWII using crude weapons that are probably as dangerous to the user as the person getting shot at.
@@allenrosales9738 Simplifications in wartime production was also done by the allies too 🤣, just like comparing the pre-war Thompson SMG with M1A1 Thompson.
Though they never got as crude as the late war K98ks or Arisakas.
coop: *says the reloading is annoying because of how much friction there is*
me, who really enjoys mag tapping: PERFECT!
If only they knew to tap the mag release to put the mag up
This reminds me of nerf n strike, when the guns were cheaper and came with twice as many darts as you needed
And yellow.
And it even has the CS naming scheme
well because it's basically the 2.0 version of n-strike hence it's called alpha strike...

yeah their shotgun one with the shells is fun, but the barrel is ready to snap on me and the spring loaded shell ejectors are ready to pop out, also it barley fires more than 15 feet if i’m lucky but it’s a fun thing to play around with every now and then
edit: well the plastic aparently is cracked so badly the barrel assembly slides off and onto the hinges if over-bent

Also coop: snaps fingers to install bateries
can we get a VS Semi-Auto Showdown? like the Flyte, Rayven and stryfe go head to head etc.

Don't see why they bothered with the battery hinge when they could've used two of the push tabs on opposing sides

This has been an amazing well thought out review. Thank for always taking the time and putting in the effort to make a fantastic fact filled review. Great work love the videos keep em coming.
I was in my town’s Walmart and saw a recolour of this blaster with an improved battery compartment, it not only keeps the flip open via tab but is also held closed by a single screw. I can’t seem to justify the $30 price tag on it since it just comes with the same amount of darts and magazine as the original release.
Was it blue?
@@morithesillyfrfr yes
The back half of the blaster totally reminds me of the SMG from Halo.
I just want a semi auto I can buy at the store because in Italy all of the good blasters are in the trash. Some can be found everywhere but, in Italy? nooooooo. You just get the new fortnite garbage. Hate this shit.
And there's corona virus
That must suck. I wish you luck on your flywheel quest
Hey man I heard there were more deaths over there, I'm sorry to hear that 😔, love from the US. Stay safe and stay tacti-cool! 👍
Stay safe dude
Might wanna buy stuff online, you will find more stuff there.
Honestly this seems like a modders dream blaster, affordable and lots of space to improve upon.
Nice
Al145 Unfortunately, most of the Alpha Strike blasters are solvent-welded together, meaning it’s almost impossible to open.
The shell is trash and hard to take apart on Alphastrike blasters.
Not worth it for moding!
Probably better to get a normal stryfe, unless you plan to tear this apart to use in integrations
Not really. The best blasters are ones that are already really solid in the areas that you can’t mod, like good structure and ergonomics. All the internal parts will be replaced in a top tier mod, but if the actual structure and feel of the blaster is poor modding won’t change it
Going over the potential safety concerns for parents is what makes your reviews go to the next level ❤️🙌❤️
I love it when you put the camera right next to the blaster. It kind of shows what it would be like shooting it
Just got this blaster and have been waiting for a review from you. Thanks Coop! Stay Tacti-Cool!
I really like that Nerf is doing a budget line. Though their blasters are more expensive than most because of the name, it is good that they have a market for people who can’t afford a normal Nerf gun
Fun fact: Nerf Added in more darts to increase the price to the price they want.
"Source: dude trust me"
@@mudkipmadness7072 its a joke? ✋🤣
Thanks for another amazing review coop! Hope you are doing good in these challenging times.
I actually really like the profile of this blaster, gotta measure it out, 3d print a shell, slap it on my strife internals
Nerf combos for the Flyte:
Coop's personal combo: *switches to le stryfe*
The thing I love about Nerf is that there is a variety of different skins and types out there. I mean, Nerf 2.0, Zombie strike, Modulus, Accustrike, Doomlands, etc.
I bought it waiting on your review for 2 weeks ty coop772 love your vids
If I had the opportunity to get a Stryfe I would have definitely gotten it, but for my first flywheel-based Nerf gun, it's not that bad. One thing that I don't see many comments on is that the stock itself is not friendly to right-handed shooters who have a habit of doing cheek/chin welds. I intend to wrap the stock in cloth or another soft material so I don't bang up my jaw/face so often. Very much enjoyed the video and I hope to see more in the future!
I agree, the stock is not eye glass friendly as well hehehe. would have been nice if it's detachable and we can fit different stocks from different guns that'll be more comfortable.
Thanks for the review Frank, I just got mine(as a gift from the wife) no complaints so far, still better than the elite 2.0 phoenix imho. This is my 1st blaster, and for a semi auto it's not bad especially for the price, and I got it for only $10 since it's 50% off here so not bad at all. I would've gotten the stryfe but it's a rarity these days here so yeah, I've chosen this over the chinese knock off stryfe we have around here. I mean the looks and performance is alot like the stryfe but it has questionable quality concerns so better this than that I guessed. I agree with the the mag and the stock especially since it's not chin friendly and my glasses tend to rub on it as well so its not comfy. but overall not bad for a budget semi-auto blaster.
my phoenix is still great
Hey cop I just wanna say you have inspired me in so many ways I am so glad that you make lots and lots of nerf content I enjoy every second of it thank you for waking up every day and giving us s tier content.
yoo i remember these videos. the format is exactly the same i love it
Coop, could you make a video showing off how your testing procedure works? I’m really curious.
I really want to buy it so I can cut off the stock, add an elite stock attachment point, cut the very front off and add a different front end with a normal barrel attachment point
Awesome Review! Keep the good work Coop
I found a Flyte in a local toy store with a grey trigger but that model had a very smooth trigger pull that almost feels like the Spectrum trigger pull
OMG I haven't watched u in like 5months I forgot but now I'm back and gonna watch all of your vids. How have u been doing Coop?
Frank has rustled the jimmies of the person who designed that magazine release.
8:34 when you hit that mag my ears randomly started ringing, that’s how bad the mad tension is.
I love your videos, I’ve watched like a hundred of them keep up with the amazing work, I don’t comment that much.
I kinda want it for the mags. Those would be perfect for my brassed Longshot. Edit: wait, they even dropped the quality of the magazines? Wow. Yeah I don't want them now, thanks for the in-depth review.
Stryfe: “My time has come”
I like many other people, have just watched through all your vids over and over. Still making the best content dude bro👍
Love your vids man keep it up
Imagine having a lipo in there, having to commonly open the battery door, then it eventually snapping off
I don't mind Hasbro making a budget line of blasters. It makes them money while also being able to put nerf guns in the hands of people who don't have a ton of money or for people just getting into the nerf hobby. The blaster looks nice for what it's worth, shoots far, and looks like it will hold up for a good while until you need to upgrade. Love these reviews
Ur vids are Awesome frank, Keep up the good work! :)
I bought this blaster, a lot of the blasters looked so much bigger than i expected, because of how tall you are.
Saw a warden, my dad thought it looked cool (though he wasnt gonna buy it) and of course i told him about the blaster.
He said he also wanted to buy a blaster too.
He also got me a 24 pack of accustrike darts, but sadly there werent any mags for sale.
Thamks for listening.
The base looks like a stryfe and the rear part and stock looks like its from the desolator.
Overall, the gun looks like something you would see in a post apocalyptic scenario
Ok

I remember when the stryfe was $20. Screw this piece of crap.
It’s 70$ on Amazon
I can get a stryfe from Kmart for $20, and its in Australian dollars.
I have to say this alpha strike product line is very very clever.
I was pulled in as a NERF customer via these cheap nerf blasters. This is how this worked on me:
As I tried to pick one foam-flinger-gun in the shop for the first time. I had no clear intentions, I just wanted something to play with for no exact reason. I was really mesmerized by the cheaper brands. Those were bigger, more colorful, offered more gadgets for the same money. And for a newcomer those looked really convincing. BUT! I found a vaguely familiar brand in the cheap section : NERF . So I picked that. I brought it home than I started to educate myself into this hobby. As a NERF customer.
Hey Coop! I recently finished watching you 5-hour long Q&A and you mentioned a willingness to do more "verses," type videos. If you do, I have a suggestion for an alright start. If you still have an Air Warriors Brute in the studio, I'd really love to see it compared to this blaster. Aesthetically both blasters give a similar vibe and your complaints, regarding the ergonomics of both blasters, were very similar. As per usual, keep up the great work, I'm very excited to see whatever you have planned, verses or not.
Edit: spelling.
They could totally put a stock attachment point on it! Would have probably been cheaper too.
