Alex, but what about a call? Native proofreader can help to fix language errors in my cold email, but when I get on a call with a client there is no way to hide that I'm not a native speaker.
Grammarly fixes all the spelling errors, buy the premium! It's totally worth it, 140 USD a year solution (in my opinion it's better than the Upwork solution :D )

Tips are as follows
1. Talk about unbusiness related. Show humanity, Show Emapathy.
2. Americans hate spelling mistake and grammatical mistakes.
3. Direct Ask. " Can we have a conversation on this tuesday"
"Can we have a phone call tomorrow"
4. Write down about the benifits of hiring your service. Why they should hire you
