That was some pretty stout wind and would be guaranteed to affect a lot of scores for the stage. For your own practice I suggest getting a few different colors flagging tape so each distance has a different color. You'll find targets faster and not have to count or check if you are on the correct one. Amazon sells them super cheap in 150ft rolls for a few $. Practice can be difficult but it's the only way to improve and learn this sport. Great video as always!
@@RangerCaptain11A I usually have all my dope cards done up before the match.. usually the targets are 2-3 MOA… so I have a little wiggle room as long as my ammo/ rifle combo stays at sub MOA..
Nice job socal … getting that work in.. love it
Thanks… really appreciate you watching…
Thank You Sir! This was good all hold overs and the wind made it more challenging! 👍
That it did… thanks for watching..

haha my fancy NF scope is only a crosshair -- i hope for no wind because i don't have wind dots.
“Kentucky Windage” has been around before all the fancy reticle…. You can do it…good luck on your match…
@@socalplinker another question: on the stage descriptions distances are given, but does the match director set up the targets at those distances?
@@RangerCaptain11A yes… Jonathan Ocab is pretty good about that…
@@socalplinker so do you figure your ballistics before, or as you wait to do the stage?
