I started learning English when I was 20, now my English is advanced and I can speak with natives without any problem, in my case I learned a lot of grammar to be able to speak English, I think grammar is important when we don't have the oportunity to travel to a foreigh country, By the way I have never been to another country. To my mind, not everybody learns a specific ability or language in the say way.
I watch a lot of CZcams videos in English.
