I STILL can't believe the Clippers passed on Paul George for AFA. He's exactly what they Clips needed this season. Well, him and a competent coach.
yeah crazy right
@JLbball You wouldn't believe how hard they had to work to get there. Stay tuned for more videos that show you behind the curtain!
Paul George is going to be an All Defensive forward for years to come. keep this series up, great stuff
tru
Paul George is a true student of the game of basketball consumate professional.
No pg13 sucks more like pg13%
@@jrsmithhennygod8069 No pg13 is amazing more like pgtop13
Great stuff coach nick, George and Young are really talented scorers and great athlets !
loved it coach. always great to see some behind the scenes
thx Nick! I luv to watch players working out, this's how they became a pro, they always motivate me a lot
@modernity2001 Thanks - this was a good first effort. I've got loads of ideas on how to improve it and make it even better. Stay tuned!
@1playerroyal Thanks - we're going to do lots more of these all summer and lockout long.
@TheAesirsFinest Thanks. We'll refine it and make it even better as we continue doing these all summer long.
Coach Nick
Nick Young looks like Sweetness from the movie Roll Bounce lol
fingersinthebootyassbitch Damn he do look lik Nick Cannon
Not sure if it's possible, but I'd love to see you do one of these with Grant Hill. It's absolutely incredible how much time that guy puts in at his age.
In any case, I enjoyed this. Looking forward to more!
both players are great young gunners in the league. I think they would be a perfect sidekick to the hall of famer on a champ teams.
this is great! Keep it up :D
Paul is far and away the harder worker and the proof is in where these two players are at today
If Nick Young improve his defense he will be an all star caliber player
Good Job Coach Nick!
@jdliauw Thanks! I hope to do a lot more of these all summer. I'd love to get these guys on the court and get real specific with fundamentals...
Coach Nick
@joekimusic Thanks! Lots more where this came from.
@cooliocolio441 Thanks! Lots more coming up, stay tuned!
also lower weight with higher reps helps build more muscle (add more definition) which lessens body fat along with cardio which can help them be even the slightest bit quicker
I didn't know PG does good in interview until now!
@NoName1325 Hickson got traded for Omri Casspi - I think Cleveland gets the better of the deal unless SAC can get Hickson motivated again.
Each player gets a binder with a personalized training regimen designed for him. Amazed that there are players who aren't in perfect shape when you see something like this.
NICK JOHN AND JAVALE TAKIN THE NBA IF WE EVEN HAVE A SEASON
@threequestions I'm working on expanding this idea to cover lots of things. Stay tuned!
Coach Nick
nick young looks blazed as fuck!
1% Fame 95% Mental 5% work ethic. Doesnt add up
+kaleb heslop ......
land beforetime if focus and u put your mind to anything u can achieve it
@tim10888 No, just hired my camera guy to shoot this... We used the 5D
Paul George remind me of T -Mac especially in that hat. And he plays a little bit like him. Hope in future he will be more lethal on offensive end. He is great player!
Wish granted
oldnbaschool ^yep
@Mwillz11 I was surprised to see he led the Wizards in scoring and I expect him to get even better with the extra time to work.
Hi Coach Nick.I'm your huge fan.Can you make a breakdown for Boston vs Miami Game 3 when rondo dislocates his elbow.Thanks.
@JayDDreams Do you know where he's working out this off season?
@korrekturmarker Very impressive - he wants to go into sports journalism when he retires - and I told him he'd better keep that promise.
@noonevincecarterfan Thanks - much more to come - and more NBA players too (hopefully)
@ArmoredFelix They're now weak - bulk muscle is not the goal and it's also the beginning of their training cycle so they start off with lower weight. It's all about balance, flexibility, explosion
@slyester33 OMG that would be great. I don't think he's in LA, so it'd be hard...
@andrewtsang999 Wow - I'm sure Nick would be happy to hear that!
nice one coach nick
hi coach can you make a video on the washington wizards and why they're a bad team and what they can do to improve please?
@Lodzio20 Agree!
@Tommmaaah Thanks. I've got some good ideas brewing...
@KillenEMsoftly I think he's in LA - I will do my best to get in touch with him.
@aecbandit Grant Hill and Steve Nash together would be amazing. I think they work out in Phoenix - if anyone knows let me know, maybe I can make something happen. I do want to get all of the LA guys first...
@bowdedav000 yea especially with his "like I said"
nick young liked this video
@willlee3 which team you thinking?
@TheJunaid14 I'll do my best to get some footage of them playing...
George is legit
Coach, if possible...interview with Jrue Holiday...Coach Collins, hell anybody from the sixers
@Lodzio20 his man-defense is already very good, and he puts forth a lot of effort. His team, reading rotations, etc. is a work in progress (as it is for pretty much everyone else on the team, hoping Chris Singleton can teach his new teammates a few things like Haywood used to). if Nick works on his rebounding and passing he will be an all-star.
I see very bright future for Paul George. He's great athlete, solid shooter and defender. player who is always working for his team and I believe he's got a great character too. But I can't say the same about Nick Young. He's great shooter but he plays so selfish and sometimes he does so stupid things on the court... But maybe I'm wrong, what do You think Coach??
@Zangboy56 You said it.
@Geschmekt Wait. Is Nick Young a free agent now??
@64ballin straight to the crappers, yeah.
i can't stop looking at nick youngs afro lol
Coach Nick, can you try to interview stephen curry of the warriors?
@halowafflebrains Thanks, great stuff coming all summer and lockout long!
Coach Nick
Good with their foots
@ArmoredFelix it not always about size when it comes to basketball it helps to have Lebron's or dwight howards size and strength but skill set is more important just ask Kevin durant
Hey coach did yyou see Nick young's 60 point game, what do you think about it?
@ArmoredFelix you dont have to be amazingly strong to be in the nba, just be have a really high skill set, grerat mentallity, footwork, balance and speed and coordination are probly more important than strength
I hope the Bulls get Nick!!! (GIANT Bulls fan!) THey need a scoring SG and I find D to be more of a team thing. Rotations, help, double teams, etc., etc. Thibs can work Young into the system. There's a whole conversation on BullsConnect... I REALLY WANT NICK NOW!!!!!!!!! xD
Nick Young finally got his teeth fixed. About time!
@LoneshotHero hopefully a post up game
@ArmoredFelix They are not weak at all, they are a lot stronger than "average" people, plus this isn't the NFL it's the NBA. Basketball relies on agility, footwork, the ability to shoot the ball and "strength", not muscles. Someone can look really weak and be extremely strong.
Nick Young is wearing Kobe 6's !
@bballbreakdown AFA played like a SF at the beginning of the season and had some good spurts, but as the season dragged VDN put him in the dog house and kept starting and giving minutes to Gomes even though he was hurt.
@bozotheclown9 Well, he wasn't making it add to 100 - he was saying that 90% of the 95% that player needs is mental...
@bballbreakdown I think they could be better sidekicks to Lebron/Wade than Lebron/Wade. They are going towards a Rudy Gay, Iguodala career and if teams don't max out and instead get them to be the 3rd option. They should compliment the superstars very well
@Marine4Life51 sorry i meant "team defense"
Nick remind me the young kobe
@TheJunaid14 First off - lifting weights WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR GROWTH!!!
At 13, you'd be better off (IMO) doing lots of isometrics - push ups, sit ups, lunges, stretching and flexibility. Get really good with your balance and flexibility, be able to do push ups & sit ups -VERY SLOWLY - then you can progress to weights... REmember - basketball isn't about bulk, but quickness and bursts of strength...
right, and 40 inches without even taking a step. sounds like strength to me.
Imma Wizards fan so Nick Young my nigga too...
lmao 2:44 Guys who are good with their foots lololol
They're both frpm la!
my godness Paul sounds EXACTLY like LeBron
@jdliauw and good job Nick!
@nubprac
agreed
@maxlin1000 He's in LA - and he's on my list. I will do my best to get in front of him b/c I think he'd be awesome...
you better be a 6ers fan now
@ArmoredFelix They're athletes. Not body builders.
Is that nick young or nick canyon !??
@psalmsurfer1 Nahh bruh! Im just a Thaddues and Nick Young supporter now! Lol Im still rollin wit my Wizards
Damn get ure workout on Paul lol!!
@tintin4561 lol he always looks like that, even when i'm sure he's sober.
Paul George reminds me of Lebron.
Nick Young looks like Chris Paul with a afro haha
Damn Paul George sound like Lebron
@JaySee5 OMG, I didn't realize that! Do you remember the argument I got into here about Aminu? I kept saying he isn't a small forward (which he still hasn't proven) and the guy kept getting angry at me?
Imagine Paul George, Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon and DeAndre Jordan in the lineup? AY!
Now all Nick young has to do is "go to work" on his basketball IQ!
this is better than kd and lebron
What is a lockout?!?
the teams as a whole couldnt practice and train with each other which led many players to play summer leagues with many other NBA players
@bowdedav000 i totally agree man lol
@QUIKKSTAR what you mean Paul Goegre is a dirty player? Paul as nice a person there is on and off the court.
95+5+1......
Paul George looks and sounds alittle like LBJ
101%?
lol nick young has a 42 inch vertical i dont think thats weak
i would say Tmac
he kinda does.. even his word choice.
