I had the Sigma 19mm for 2-3 years. Lovely. Very quick auto focus. And then, one day, it just stopped working. It's cheap to replace, but probably too cheap to have it repaired economically. How long should a cheap lens last?
The g9 is at an amazing price right now. 997 body only. I already have some m43 lenses. I was looking at nikon z50. I think I need to wait until there is more lenses available for the z50. If sigma made apsc lenses for z50 I would have purchased one already.
The 19mm sigma is the best one for me
Is this as sharp as the 60mm 2.8?

I’m not a video person at all but when I do video between my G9 and my EM5 Mark iii with my Sigma 16mm I much prefer using my EM5. It focuses so much better on the EM5. My gut tells me that the Olympus lens would work just as good as the sigma on the EM5.

What would you chose between nikon z6 and G9?
Definitely G9. 4k60fps. 4k30fps and below can shoot 10bit 422 with HLG. Best IBIS. Articulating screen. Better colors and brightness. Less stepping in exposure compensation. More variety and cheaper lenses. Better AFC as well. I have a video comparison between G9 and Z6 in low light AF test. I dont know if its that Nikkor Z 35mm F1.8 which has an issue or its the Z6. Cuz the Z50 is more better than the Z6 to me for video. Maybe i should do a comparison video on Z6 vs z50 vs G9. 😂

Sotto Sopra yes the g9 is panasonic’s flagship camera for photography and it takes nice and clean photos with pretty good dynamic range
