I still think Anna had some of the best angles...she could play powerful or mixed up the pace...she had an excellent two handed backhand dropshot...She was a superb athlete and mover/very graceful and light on her feet....I think she just couldn’t decide how to play. Her mom took her out of Bollettieri’s watch a little too soon as a teen. He still wanted to work on her serve...I think she had the talent to win many titles...possibly a slam or two even though she came up in the toughest era
Whenever she leaned into her backhand, players were shocked at how deep and powerful it was. Her shots were so flat, they almost had to be hit perfectly, wished she stayed aggressive.
Sancho Camacho I think she’s always had that desire and motivation. She came so close in 2002 in San Diego where she had a match point against Jelena Dokic, it’s just that her game was so flat especially her back hand and so had to be perfect for a week in order for her to win.

That girl played great. Great variation in pace, and ruthless attacking for a winner as soon as the chance came up.
