I feel like Doug could win easily if he just turbo out Borrelguard. It's destruction immunity carries him through 90% of the deck. Karma Cut and Ice Dragon Prison were the only outs which were traps, so controlling the backrow with the two backrow rokkets would be smart.
@iantoshida-ht2dp it's effect turns things to defense, you need to summon two butler, which he doesn't have. Oh wait you're right, all he needs is field spell and the dodo can crash after doing a link and fusion. Using link 1 as cost. Not sure if that's easy though alot of resources.
You played prank kids in saga too plus after losing every episode a heel turn into a banning is fine. It's kind of a weak start to the series, but it's funnier than watching him lose 4 games in a row and then banning everything doug has into a unga bunga format.
Yeah cause it was SEASON 1. Now that he is more knowledgeable, He doesn't take those clearly overpowered sets but MBT even after reacting to Saga for more than a year hasn't seemed to realize how much those broken sets ruin the enjoyability of the games.

It just feels so weird how prank kids are so badly (in the way the ishizu cards are badly designed I mean) designed that having them exist ruins the series. Though I'm willing to admit that this is just residual salt from the format they were most relevant. Though jospeh is min maxing the series, he knows what he's doing so thats something I can appreciate a little.
To be fair, he was losing and needed some wins to catch up. Also, lets be honest, the borreload package doug got is quite good as well, if not for prank kids, mbt was screwed. Bans hit now, so i doubt we will see them again.

Meow is a link 1, without it you've gotta draw really well to get the engine going, the consistency of the deck plummets without it. You need pandemonium and 2+ pks or the token generator and a pk to do anything other than normal/set 1 pass
@@adamushuIf you're asking that if battle butler were banned what would the win condition be, the win con is that pk is a huge advantage engine that even playing a small package has homes in plenty of decks like adams or plunder. The win con without meow is playing another deck
And he got 5 Almiraj, one that has no extra effect for doing the reincarnation summon. The salad cards are still good even if he doesn't have the extra extra deck monsters anyway.
