Was bullied for the first 2 years of Secondary School by 2 lads who never let up. I wasn't a big kid but I was athletic. School sports day just past the Olympics, a chance for my class to try the Shot Put. I did the spin thing and away it went farther than even the coaches expected. Just at that moment one of the bullies decided to walk across the triangle. Shot took him right in the back of the head. Fractured skull. I looked at the faces around who looked at me. Learned 2 things, 1. They thought it was deliberate, and 2. I discovered perception. Anybody trying again to bully me had now to think of consequences. Never knowing time or place. Served me well. Love the series. Best from Jockland. P.S. It was an accident, honest.
Never understood why this show stopped . It was awesome
As I understand it, Scott told the story he wanted to tell and was done. Rare to see a creator stop when there's still money to be made, but he did what he set out to do and stopped.
Sometimes best to not run it dry. Bloody good series though as you say

That ending, when he looks at you. You know it was over for those guys, and whoever sent them.
Which was the point, the cycle had to end somewhere.

Deadwood, Justified, and Mr. In Between are three of the greatest series.
What? I have only watched Deadwood of these three and its my number one series. Then the wire and then The Sopranos

I JUST finished watching this series... loved it.
Ray had it right... there are jerks out there who will continue to be jerks until taught a lesson. If you let them walk over you, they will continue to walk over others. He was more than willing to show violence to bullies or his "hits"... almost always bad people.
But also willing to have a good heart for those who were good themselves. They way he treated his brother, Gary, and even strangers who were good people showed he cared about others.
One of the best shows in decades... literally.
Ray was the man. Loved this show.
as someone that was bullied for 14 years, came home bloodied and bruised from beatings, clothes ripped to shreds, i can tell you that showing the bully that you wont take their shit anymore works, violence is NOT always the answer, but when push comes to shove, bullies will always run when they are confronted.

@@Madflog01 and ladies and gents, here we have the perfect example of someone who without knowing it probably, is a bully. My story is actually true mr madflog01, all of it, but you dont need to worry your little head about that, you just focus on getting over the paranoia that someone is over you, because honestly, their not, people like you are always at the bottom of everything...covered in your own filth.

I’m not sure that was what Jesus meant: “better to give than to receive.” But a great study of a complex, motivated character.

This was well put together, but I'm old school... I thought this was going to be a Mr Inbetween montage played to George Thoroughgood's song "Bad to the Bone". So, you know, your video clip title set the bar pretty high. Disappointment is not the right word.

the first season was a classic, he was down to earth and low key in a really menacing way. Then it started to go hollywood, they could have kept him the same and it would have been a great series.
Watched all seasons best series for a long time Ray is old school and the youth of to day should look up to man like him and not a drug dealer

This is a terrible title for Ray. He isn't bad to the bone. Man has morals, despite being and extremely violent person and having a violent profession.
