So Joel doesn’t make money off his videos because of all the copyrighted music in them, but he still blurs obscene imagery and avoids swearing, can we just take a minute to appreciate that.

Well because getting claimed by copyrighted music doesn't take away the video monetization entirely. It just doesn't go to roomie, so youtube still promotes it like normal because it's still monetized to youtube, if he shows that and gets entirely demonetized on the other hand the video will just stop being recommended as much. Also things like that could get your channel permanently demonetized, roomie can still monetize some videos for some time.

I love it when he covers the song while he plys the piano but the eauuh in the end ruins it :D
I find it cringy like a lot of people, but I imagine its like when you add random (and sometimes cheesy) lines when you're jammin,but when you actually write the song, it's a lot more refined and doesn't include stuff like that.
Only difference is, is that Joel's "jamming" is being recorded and shown

I just wanted to say that Roomie doesn't need to feel bad that he doesn't like it when people think his sexuality is something it isn't. It is frustrating and invalidating to have your sexuality questioned by others, whether you think you're straight or not.

Yeah, I don’t blame him. I’ve noticed that the LGBT community likes to project their own sexual preferences onto other people - and then they get mad when people say “I’m straight, I don’t want to be thought of as gay”. Straight pride is shunned, unfortunately.
People have a right to be what they are and be proud.
@@alaskaismyhome39 its always weird when movements go so far, they end up on the other side they fought. like what you mentioned, people being made fun of and ridiculed because of their sexuality when they say they are straight or some Black rights people literally trying to separate white and black culture even more. like, dont they notice that shit at all? zero self reflection in some people.

Pls don’t take this the wrong way because I agree, however this is not to say that people of any sexuality or gender do not project their one presences onto others (evident in music as well - Katy Perry’s “I kissed a girl” is a good example that was made for shock value, or Simone Battles “he likes boys” which shows especially at the first and second verse that being of a different sexuality is an inconvenience). As well as this the concept of straight pride can be frustrating to people within the lgbtq+ community, just as much as pride as we know it is considered to be strange to many cis-het people. As far as I am aware, the reason for this is that the concept of pride in the sense of celebration for ones sexuality or gender exists primarily to affirm and celebrate the advancements in rights and general awareness of lgbtq+ individuals, something similar to black history month. As rights have never been restricted on the basis of somebody being cisgender or heterosexual.
Sorry for the rambling, just wanted to try and spread some positivity 😅.

As a low bass singer, this was really cool to see!
As a soprano, I'm hella jealous. I fucking love low voices and notes. I play clarinet and in high school I was asked to play bass clarinet to fill in a hole and I agreed to just to try something different after playing eb (piccolo) clarinet the previous year and I absolutely loved it! Everything is an octave lower than a standard clarinet and I love how it sounds and feels. The richness in low notes is incredible! Also blowing into the bass clarinet feels kinda like blowing into a jack hammer so it's kinda fun too. But anyway im jealous of anyone who can sing low! I can go down to an e on a good day
@@dschroeder4380 I think it’s kind of ironic how I’m a low singer, but absolutely love listening to people who can sing high. I just can’t understand how they can sing that high. Also I love the sound of the bass clarinet. It just has such a cool sound and is extremely resonant. Anyways I’m glad that you appreciate low singing!
I feel the same way about my cello as you do with the bass clarinet. I’m jealous of people who can sing both low and high. I can’t sing any lower than my regular speaking voice and my friends are always surprised whenever they ask me to sing high and my voice cracks almost immediately. It’s probably because I usually use a higher pitched voice when I’m talking to them.

I was wondering when Roomie would have a video giving low voices love. As I got older, I've found myself more impressed by singers who can hit low notes and still sound really good.
