I love your title on CZcams. That's me to a tee. I've lived everyday waiting myself. For 43 years I've been searching for my special angel but to no avail. I even wrote a short poem about my situation, it goes like this, if I am destined to be alone I'll harden my heart and encase it in stone for there is no man to find for me to come and set my hard heart free. I don’t usually watch singing shows. I wouldn’t say that I’m very musically inclined. The title of this was intriguing. I’m writing because as soon as I heard the gentleman singing Jealousy, I got goose bumps and started to cry. The last time that happened was in the 80s when PBS aired The Three Tenors - Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and the late Luciano Pavaroti.

The guy singing “Summertime” shouldn’t be on this list. He has a Tenor-ish voice and his notes are in the tenor range, esp. the high notes at the end (IMO).

Maybe, but that’s not really ‘Unexpected’ as that’s what the instrument sounds. If that’s the case, he could have played another instrument capable of producing similar rich low notes like the bassoon or cello and still make the list (IMO).
This guy is not a tenor , he is low baritone.
