    Lower registers are so underrated in a fight with a higher pitch because they are a bit more flashy, but deeper voices sink in your bones like nothing else

      I know righttt, as a lover of songs and music, I don't get why low notes on songs or low-registered voices are so underrated compared to those belters and belt notes. They both are great, but low notes *pierce* through you.

    • @foodgeek.
      @foodgeek. Před 2 měsíci +5

      I think it's not hard for these people. It's just their natural voice. I know this because I always thought my voice was not good for singing until I realized I'm bass-baritone. All those deep tones are easily achivable for me.
      The real challenge is in the high tones.

    • @steveblack720
      @steveblack720 Před 2 měsíci

      @@foodgeek. Yeah, high notes are not easy cause they require a lot of energy, but low notes have a big minus cause if you can't go lower, you can't produce the note at all and they don't sound as good once you cross the line, for me D2 and higher are quite easy and they sound good and resonant, I can produce C2 fairly musically but B1 is just out of range. Also when I go like to F2-E2 my voice changes a bit, do you have it or is it just me?

    • @doormatcat
      @doormatcat Před měsícem

      The most difficult part is getting the sound and tone you want while also staying completely relaxed while also using an excessive amount of air for the volume.

    • @steveblack720
      @steveblack720 Před měsícem

      @@doormatcat if you are relaxed it is not hard, it means you can easily achieve low sounds, it depends on the voice and there are a lot of strained basses who can't go that low in full voice so they have to strain or fry more

      I read somewhere that a few didn't because they didn't want to be chosen as they thought other judges would be able to do a better job with the contestant's potential. I suppose it is like any "job" you know your strengths etc. I know that in a few of the jobs I have had I was more than capable of doing an aspect but other team members were better than me so I would only step up if desperate so to speak. But I totally thought what you said until I heard some of the reasoning.

    1st lady gave me shivers, powerful voice, didn't sound like it could even reach higher registers but didn't need to, no raw edges. 3rd guy had great tone, very smooth range, and not just from the song or style, sounded super professional, he completely serenaded the judges. 4th guy's singing style very stylized - feels like he's into singing Nordic metal or something. Very powerful, warm tone, not cut off or strained at all, great range. 6th/last guy chose a great song, great belts but melodic like he's simply speaking to you, full of emotion and power. Super smooth full tone just effortlessly sung.

      @Hakim Studios You can't train someone to get a low voice, you have it or you don't. Yes you can learn to control your deepest vocal registers but you can't learn to go lower than your own low. Going higher on the other hand is doable even for a Bass/Baritone. It's also really hard to sing long notes and actually a lot of different tones with a low voice, that's why seeing good low singers is always pretty impressive because it's just way harder to sing low than mid/high.

      You should listen to voiceplay they do a cover of that song and Geoff is an amazing bass singer, I recommend their cover of the oogie boogie man from the nightmare before Christmas

    Tbh I prefer the deep voices... now days is pretty common finding high tone voices... but an amazing deep voice it's really extraordinary and even harder than high tones.

    • @Asgod31
      @Asgod31 Před 3 lety +15

      It s not harder it s just impossible if your vocal chords are not thick enough where high notes can be practised

      I have a deep voice (and im only 16) umm like the 3rd guy and I got to disagree with this, its harder for me to achieve those high tones.

      NahWernAchi • 7 years ago Wait till you develop a falsetto, once your vocal cords stop growing it becomes a lot easier, but yes while going through a voice change high notes are really hard, trust me I’m in the same boat, my voice either cracks or the note is just a hum in the back of my throat.

    South Africa - Holy Moly...she's got pipes!!! One of the best covers I've heard.
    Then the second man - what a beautiful rendition.
    Then Germany's Alexander Eder...he should have won. Good control nice timbre. Got the emotions too.
    Guy singing " Sound of Silence"... WOW...One freaking chair turn???
    Skyfall...woeaaa. Got me...YEAH
    BELGIUM was really good. Not low but PITCH PERFECT!!! Great performance...nice way to end.
    ALL were favorite.

      The australian guy sang as the last few so no one turned. The coach that DID turn broke the rules as his team was full and drama rose instantly.
