I would not say it got destroyed it kept up and had a nice gradual top end for the lead. So the 500 lead that race but would say destroyed. Your guys imaginations run wild.

I thought the weight advantage on the 911 might make up the difference in hp but not this time.
That GT500 is impressive. .
911TTS's don't weigh 3500...My 911 TTS with full and me at the track weighed 3907 lbs. I think 3600+ is the curb weight of this. Still, the power to weight of the 500 and the smaller turbos on the 991.1 Turbos was the disadvantage. The 991.2TTS's have larger turbos with billet wheels... Would have been a better match up.

720S would rather easily walk the GT500, imo.
Remember this was a Porsche running stock turbos and meth and hung fairly well with the GT500 until 150 or so.
60-150 it would be ugly for the Ford against 720S.

Amazing race! 911 Turbo S would be making around the same power as the GT500 stock and the GT500 would have made about 800-850. Weight is big difference but the GT500 was weaponized with its new DCT.

Both would beat it since they are both now on upgraded turbos. Prior to the turbi upgrade, the non S model one, would have gave it a good run for sure! He's now dialing in the tune.

These Shelby's are the best bang for the buck.
They cost an arm and a leg so I would hope so
90k for car that has plastic allover inside , that can't put power down on a street below 50mph, that drives like a big boat, weights 4200lbs. Only good about it is sound and acceleration from. 50mph.
For 90k you can buy 2022 g82 M4 xDrive that can do high 9second on a street just with tune and e. That had amazing interior, lots of technology, it can do corners, weight 3800lbs (400lbs) but feels even lighter when driving.
