A lot of places won’t even touch the head, I’ve been looking in my state and nobody offers it and when you email them they will only do eyebrows or beard, not the head.

I mean if you dont want the horse shoe thing, I suggest looking for a SMP procedure, find the right artist and it actually looks pretty good and natural

How much does it cost? Just in around numbers. I can't even be bothered lining up my neck, and cheeks everyday. I can't imagine having to head shave everyday. I would laser too, if it come down to it.

I shaved my all my hair last year and I always thought I would hate to have that horse shoe look but to be honest and for my surprise I was totally OK with it. I personally think it looks better.

Well you can use wigs after laser hair removal so you don't need products to style your hair anymore or let it grow you can alter it forever

Too many people fake in these comments. If u gonna spend money on this get a hair transplant. That's the other way. U need enough donor hair. U have a decent amount still. Look into it. Can have beautiful hair again man. I did it in 2020. Best decision of my life. Wasn't at your level of loss but u can still do it. Going for a touch up in 6 months to fill it in thicker.

I had laser hair removal and it isn’t that painful. It doesn’t last forever, though, and I have to go for retouches yearly.

Laser hair removal only works until you start turning grey. You will need electrolysis to permanently remove the ring

I dont think I would do that. When I shave my head, the scalp feels and looks a lot smoother, cleaner and shiny. A razor removes dead skin cells, one of the reasons of the smoother and cleaner feel
Any skin exfoliant from the drugstore would yield similar results though, shaving is actually one of the roughest ways to exfoliate your skin
Most people don't even notice the horse shoe if short enough. I think us baldies notice it more because we are constantly worried about our own.

Its not worth it. Laser hair is not permanent, you must do upkeep. Some folks end up having patchy hair grow back uglier than horseshoe.

Guys should do their underarms for laser to see if they can manage. Its one of the more sensitive areas to do laser.

I’ve actually thought about doing this but the fear of it messing up my skin always held me back. I’m 33, been shaving since I was 23 and I’m honestly tired of it. Can anyone vouch for this procedure?

I've done it, I was also afraid because of the fear of getting scars but the short answer is, you need to go to a place where they have a good machine , I done two sessions so far, no issues , it's a bit painful but I think most people can handle it, it's like getting a tattoo sorta of pain lol

Cost is listed in the new video Harry mentioned, but if you want to hear a personal account from someone who has had laser hair removal before, I can tell you it works very well. I have light skin, and most of the hair I grow is brown/dark brown, so I'm the prime candidate for it. If you are of a lighter skin tone and grow darker hair as well, it'll likely work on you, too.
However, I will add that the success of the hair removal doesn't just depend on these factors. The density of the hair follicles is also important. If the hair is finer, it'll have more difficulty killing off and stopping the hair from growing back. Which is why I'm partly skeptical of the idea of a balding person having this procedure-it'll likely work more effectively at getting rid of donor hair and leaving a lot of the balding areas. Lighter hair colours also impedes success-something I can say from experience in the few areas I grow blonde hair on (which is also important to consider for a balding person because the hair generally loses its colour while balding).
Getting between 8-12 removal sessions is definitely what I'd recommend to get the best results. Though don't go into it thinking it'll remove *all* hair because this isn't necessarily the case. If you're someone who has a lot of hair or aren't the prime candidate for the procedure, it may not get rid of it all. And generally, I'm not sure it'd get rid of everything anyway. But I will say, being someone who is both the prime candidate and who had a *lot* of hair that needed removing in many areas, it reduced the regrowth rate to an impressive amount, between 80-90% for my chest and stomach, for example. I've never done my head hair because I don't want to, nor am I comfortable with the idea of having a laser so close to my brain, so that's one area I cannot comment on from personal experience. Hope the rest helps, though. :)
