Only watching this now, but I found it interesting that the discovery wasn't so much about collecting emails with a funnel (to be able to sell to later), but more about upselling initial purchasers (coming from paid ads).
"I spend $50/day and make one sale" moments later "My ad cost doesn't change. I spend $50 and make 3 sales a day" 🤔

But when you take away the cost of the DVD to make and kit you required from someone else + shipping. You'd end up making way less than the $102 per average sale? Anyway love what Russell does and have gone down the click funnels rabbit hole the last 2 weeks learning as much as possible from Russell and his team.
I'm assuming Russell would have factored in the cost of shipping and the DVD in the $37 cost price. The same with the kit.

is it me or did the math not add up. you was averging 1 sale a dat at $37, then you started upselling and all of a sudden you sales are 3 per day at $37. so that $111 a day before the upsell. then 1 of 3 actually buys the upsell. so is it 3 dvd sales + 1 upsell kit, or does it still stay 1 dvd sale, and a 1/3 of an upsell kit?

I'm trying to figure out what is click funnel how does it work by going through many youtube videos and nobody can tell me without confusing me with too many stories. There's not even a course specifically dedicated to this whole new world of business, so I give up! What the F is this thing, and how do I set up one and start RUNING? Straight to the point without holding me to a long boring talking just to get me at the end of the video. I think setting up click funnel and doing all the necessary thing to drive traffic can be a long video too, so why aren't anyone going straight to the point?

You said you made $102 for every $50 spent. But that was excluding the cost of the kit. $197 was not pure profit it was including your expenses so you were making a net loss.

You have to find one depending on the niche you are in.

$50 ad spend, > 3 people buy the $37 video($111), > 1 of the 3 people buys the upsell at $197= $50 in, $258 out($197+111 -$50)......Russel's math isn't working for me
He spend $50 and get one conversion at $37.(loss -$13)
if he spend $150, he get 3 conversion at $111. (loss -$39).
But out of 3 conversion, one buy $197.
so for every 3 conversion, he spend $150, and get back ($37x3)+197= $308. his profit will be $308-$150= $158.
his final figure maybe after deducting shipping and supplier.
So, the bottom line is - 'To Cross-Sell Your Products!'

I'm trying to learn all of this from scratch. The problem is I have never been a consumer of any type of funneling. I ignore commercials, I ignore scammy emails, etc. Do people truly click on some ad for a potato gun tutorial??? If I ever wanted to learn how to make one, or anything else, I would just learn for free from CZcams, which is what I searched in the middle of this video. And there are tons of videos on it. Who actually buys a potato gun tutorial ebook or whatever he sold? Idiots?

you are giving Mr. Google $37 everyday (which is for sure) but you might not even get a single dollar from your sell (it might not get sell at all) and you lost all.
Your math is screwy in this video.😐 Glad others are picking up on it too in the comments. The concept being taught is solid but the math is messy and doesn't add up. Wish you would re-record this video with accurate math.
