- We have ANOTHER intake option here from oversees. Process West from Australia has their VB WRX intake available. Today my buddy Jose brought his WRX and the intake. We take a crack at installing it and getting some sound clips. Also he finally gets tuned with the Dmann OTS tune. Another happy customer :)

LMAO it's starting to seem like that
Thank you for considering me a homie 😂❤😂
You love to see it. I’m happy for us 😁😁
Im at 13-14k now and held off for 1.5 years now on doing stuff, but after test driving a beautiful stage one cobb development STi today it's thrown me overboard i've gotta send it now lol. Thanks for all the different videos on tons of different manufacturers definitely helps with choosing stuff
Nice work brother. Another great video!
i drove my car 20k Miles before i did a tune so me and him are on the same boat. Im actually 21k Now and im loving my ETS intake with Drunkmann tune ! :"D
Very nice. I have the PW TMIC/chargepipe/Intake tuned by DMann. I expect the OTS tune is based on my car/tune at the end of last September at Felix Performance, as that was the 1st time Anthony was doing the MAF scaling for the PW Intake.
Edit: If anyone ever needs a replacement K&N Filter for the PW Intake the part # is RE-0930 and they happen to be on sale right now.
Great video! Really like that sound during the shifts. Looks like lots of fun doing that work. Doesn't look like it would be too complicated. Keep up the great work!
I’m the owner of the car. Got my intake and OTS map from Felix Performance contact Melanie. No issues and I’m still stoked every time I shift!
@josenoya1178 that's awesome dude!! Very nice car and I'm super happy for you!! That's got to be such a great feeling!! I'm brand new to wrx's and tuning in general so I love seeing these videos and love seeing how happy it made you!!
I'll be doing a video for this install next month! Most popular intake here in Aus as the ETS is significantly more expensive.
That nut on the intake tube needs a rubber bushing spacer inside 2 flat washers to allow a little give and cut down on vibration (just my opinion) Process West makes some cool stuff for the VB, I like the design of their TMI.
ENDED UP INSTALLING MY LATE AT NIGHT AFTER A 70+ HR WORK WEEK AND I HAD THE SAME "ISSUE" WITH THE MISHIMOTO AND THAT SUPPORT BOLT LINED UP ONLY TO FIND THAT I HADNT SEATED THE PIPE GOOD ENOUGH ON THE TURBO SIDE 😂. MISHIMOTO FIT LIKE A GLOVE AND SO FAR SO GOOD
Hey buddy love you’re channel
I installed the process west intake and inter cooler and there charge pipe with a j pipe and exhaust from Invidia the Q400 with a Cobb and dyno tune from the Subaru doctor in Townsville Australia and I’m getting 362hp dam fine and good fun
That's so awesome! Always happy to hear from my AU crew!
I went with the process west tmic cause it was the only other out not using the stock plasic piece besides perrin but could use iag aos with it also thought the two inlets were cool
If you or your buddy want a cheap mount for the Cobb AP, I've found the basic vent clip phone mounts you can buy online work great. Specifically the ones with the sides that squeeze in and spring release, with the opening at the bottom to accommodate the connection. I don't think the full Cobb one is worth it at that price.
I have this intake on my VA, interestingly induction is quite loud, I also have the process west verticooler so I wonder if that’s why it isn’t as loud.
Don’t drop the MAF and don’t forget to clean it! Great video
You're right! Gotta take care of that MAF.
I sold my WRX!! I had the suction noise but it was quiet as hell! Ordered
a GR86 and can’t wait to turbo it!
Just installed their stage 1 FMIC and the AEM intake. Had to cut a pretty large piece out of the air box to work with the IC. The combo is great though. Sound and temps are excellent. Got the AEM because of Graham's intake test video. Stock crash bar does work with the FMIC. Main reason I got it.
❤
I like those don’t tread on me tags. I like the sound when he lets off but I want one that makes fast and furious noises while accelerating too
Hi HMWrx,
Since you mentioned asking about if Process West’s FMIC fits with the crash bar, I was wondering if you’ve found any that do.
The only reason I’m still debating going with a TMIC is because I want to keep that intact.
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure the process West stage 1 FMIC fits with the OEM crash bar.
Hey, bit if a random question, I’m currently on e40 with 21lbs of boost, any tips for launching or just first gear ? Seems so short at full throttle, Was just wondering if you maybe don’t go as hard on the throttle, or you just send it
Don’t know if you saw COBB added launch control today to the AP
@@josenoya1178Bless you brody 🤝🏽
Wait you don't feel a difference when you switch between 93 and e85 maps (13:39)? What! Aw man. So if I ask Graham for that ethanol tune I might not feel it but I still go through the hassle of blending fuels and the risk of potentially affecting my fuel system long term? Hmm... What's the expected HP/TQ numbers between your two maps?
I should probably clarify the difference isn't as pronounced as you'd think since it's only 40hp different compared to almost 90hp going from stock. You still have more hp and you really notice when you're racing someone. 93 I'm at 340/400, blend tune is 360/415, and full ethanol is 385/425.
Iam scared AF to do tune or something since i will be 4 years paying my car 💔💔😔😔😔..i only did exhaust and outside things …but damn this videos dont help my case🤩😂
Same haha. I want to tune and do an intake, but don’t want the issues that may never happen. Also I barely drive my car so not sure I wanna even waste the money. Definitely looks more fun though.
Are those the genuine Jdm skirt extensions?
Just the front lip for now
Any followers in here in Virginia?
hootie hoo!
22k, shoot I’ve got 47k and still stock
73k still stock besides axle back exhaust. Lol
Stock tune with that?
We installed a Dmann tune along with it. Not on stock tune.
Import image racing has already did a video on this just so you know lol
They did? Was it the 2 minute video showcasing the process West lineup? That's the only one I see.
The Fullboost CZcams channel in Australia fitted the Process West intake and top mount intercooler.

Thanks! I can see how we missed this because it didn't have it in the title or description.
Hit me up and I can 3D print you a mount for you access port
