My ex-BF set my home on fire with my newborn son inside. My son and I moved to a small town and lived in isolation because he kept stalking us. I raised my son as a single mom. He is 30 years old now.

He also has the right to conflict-free counsel which could be a problem for certain attorneys based on certain facts. There is really no actual duty or legal obligation to accept any case in Texas because the attorney decides which cases he’ll get retained on, and if appointed, Counsel can always request to withdraw due to ethical conflicts or good cause. Yes- the information about him doing that just a few weeks prior when the mother trusted him as the “father” was disturbing. Apparently, she took care of them using her student loan money but it was not enough and that is when she filed for child support. That man had not even seen or spent time with the baby much. That’s how he lured her the day of the murder under the guise of seeing the baby.
Imagine, a few weeks prior she asked him to sit w/ his son for a few minutes while she ran back to her car for something. She returned to a baby screaming from pain! An innocent baby was injected with God knows what and lost his ability to walk. The medical examiner testified the area of the leg had necrosis. @@cheekycharlie1984 I know! His monstrous acts have sucked me in with the trial because of the depravity. There were SO many moments leading up to that fateful day where he could have chosen another way, even if angry or frustrated. Not changing course for his irrational actions speaks to his mental and emotional issues that he could not self regulate. He may have felt however about the child outside of his marriage being revealed and the financial responsibilities but murder!?!? From her sister and best friend’s testimony she didn’t even harass him for assistance. He even said something along those lines during his interrogation, although he’s a liar. It is only when she could no longer do it alone/with her family that she went to a program for assistance and in order to receive the monetary assistance for daycare and whatever else, there must be a child support case. That wasn’t even her first line of action. Her text messages show her remorse for choosing the men/father’s she did for her children. Another part that many people are not talking about or are unaware of is that she was the mother of 2 kids and that child is now motherless and traumatized as well. I truly hope justice is served for the two lives lost.

If you are seeking child support from a father of the child who didn’t want you to have from first place, and is hiding your relationship from everyone, you MUST not meet him in remote area. Choose a very busy public place if he doesn’t agree to it (don’t listen to his reasons as you did in the past), if you wish to remain alive demand to meet in a busy restaurant or a coffee shop). Also don’t take a ride from him even if you believe he will never hurt you, if you don’t have a ride ask from a family member or close friend to give you a ride and even if you must change the time of the meeting to the time that is convenient to your ride, do it. Don’t fall for everything he is telling you like “everything is going to be okay”, “things will change” or “I want to help without having to involve the courts”, “trust me I will pay without my bosses or my wife must know” etc. If he really cares for you he would have met you in public place.

I think the judge is just disappointed in the way the prosecution is handling this case. I’m going to be really honest, the prosecution team, except for the male lawyer in the beginning, is terrible . Instead of having timestamps for videos, they let the complete video play. Showing irrelevant footage. Lengthening this trial. The prosecution team also seem unprepared and no confident in what they are asking, showing, providing to the jury.
I believe the judge is just done with wasting time-and have lawyers in front of him who appear in incompetent.
The defense lawyers as well. For example with the patrol officer who got emotional and kept on talking including his feelings on the stand. The defense team didn’t object, the judge was eyeing them and then ended up stopping the officer from proceeding. Then the defense tried to claim a mistrial, and the judge flat out was like “no! It was their job to stop the witness from proceeding

This officer showed more concern than the beast that killed his own son. I've noticed that the lawyer and judge don't show concern towards the witnesses. They haven't asked the witnesses if they need a break if they're OK. I've seen other cases where the witness breaks down, and the judge or lawyer will comfort the witness. The lawyer just wants to move as fast as he can. What I've noticed about the officer's of Laredo is how well mannered and respectful they are. They all say no or yes, sir, no thank you. I think the people from Texas show some kind of mannerisms that you don't see from other states. They need to remove the title from Mistress to Ms Hernandez. To all the officers involved in this horrific incident and having to go on that stand and have to testify against a fellow officer, I’m incredibly sorry for everyone that has been affected by this. The service they provide to our community and putting themselves in danger and harm. 🙏🏽 I hope everyone gets the support and assistance they need and deserve. I hope that devil of a being rots in prison for what he’s done and caused. And those standing next to the accused should be ashamed of themselves.

They’re not on the stand testifying against a “fellow officer”. He was a border patrol agent. Not a commissioned police officer.

The fact that almost all the witnesses show a great deal of emotion & the killer shows none even when they speak of the innocent baby is disturbing, to say the least.

I know accused people can fake remorse & grief, but it creeps me out when there's substantial evidence to confirm the accused was responsible yet they sit there so calmly, even worse when they are related or intimately know the victim/s. The good looking & charming killers are the scariest to me, literally wolves in sheeps clothing, exactly like the pretty things in the wild that can kill, using their appearance to lure in their victim. I hope this guy gets the DP once convicted. RIP Grizelda and Dominic

Children are our greatest inheritance. They will carry the legacy we leave behind. It’s very sad that we’ve been conditioned to believe they are nothing but a burden. May God keep these victims In his greater glory and bring peace and comfort to those who loved them.

US taxpayers, most likely, are paying for the conference table ,of about 10 Attys etc.
Which brings up ..How discriminating it is to have federal taxes and county ,state, to pay for CERTAIN , persons to get extra monies for defending them..But unfortunately, others are not given equal opportunity to same defense funding. Discrimination. Add favoritism to pay more for attys to advise the team.
Which finally, brings me to, how unintelligent attys must be ,if they need 10 people to defend 1 man. ( Sarcasm, IMO).
NEVER trust attys who insist on " legal" robbing the county, State and fed Monies. Imo

It's beyond my understanding how a defense attorney keep a cordial relationship with their client knowing the person is guilty as hell and evil as the devil. I wouldn't even seat close to that criminal knowing what he's capable of.
