Testimony was on point today. The officer laid out a timeline with matching video checkpoints to back them up that showed the time AB got there to meet up with the victims, him leaving to return home to shower and returning to the scene. This leaves no shadow of doubt, not even one iota of doubt in my mind that he’s guilty. Justice for Gris and baby Dom.

One of the things I loved about this case was seeing the BP Supervisor Mexican, the BP Agent Larra Mexican, the Detective Mexican, the Police Officer Mexican, some of the Attorneys Mexican and even the Judge Mexican. Now I could be wrong and they could be Hispanic from somewhere else but usually in Texas/California, the majority of Hispanics are Mexican and it’s cool to see them all in such great positions contributing to this country. Obviously not with what the BP Supervisor did though, people like him give us a bad and corrupt image when the majority of Mexicans and Hispanics are hard working honest citizens.

I don't believe in the death penalty because of my own sense of vengeance. My fury about this crime wants to see him tortured, then killed. However, I don't like that about myself. But when you think of it, for one thing, as a Border Patrol cop he is not going to be popular in prison. I'd say that, for this crime, he won't last long there. There are many people in prison who have a strong moral code, and who have committed far less horrifying crimes. Mark my words: in this case, someone will do a Dahmer on him.

Watching the defense attorney's opening statement in sentencing is just awkward. A week of asserting (tepidly) that he didn't do it and now a quick pivot to 'what he did was awful, but...' This point in death penalty trials always makes me cringe; they have very little credibility at this point. Clients should plead guilty when it's so overwhelming and give themselves a better chance at presenting themselves as more than monstrous.
I just watched some of Agent Lara's testimony. He relived that trauma. My heart breaks for the family of the victim & that poor baby. If everything we are hearing is true...

Broke my heart when I heard his son went from walking to crawling and then the mom had to take him to the ER because he was in so much pain. They found the syringe puncture mark on his leg. By his uncaring tough tattoo attitude, men like this will NEVER care about ANY woman ..there's no feelings or compassion there ..men like that you leave alone to themselves...look but don't touch or deal with them...another pretty woman they treat like garbage....they deserve no one but themselves... Seen another story I think it was Florida where a guy was behind on 19k in child support so went and killed the mom and 3 kids to not pay it. People are insane
