Thanks Russ for the comment. We were aware of the situation, and since that boat/motor restoration A good 62 Lark parts motor was located and purchased for the spare powerhead. We don't dog these old motors anyway so hopefully the crankshaft wont fail.

Should have used a slightly later Evinrude Lark. The '60 and '61 motors had a weak crankshaft; that was remedied in '62.

This Lark IV is 1962 model, and this one is manual shift instead of Selectric. Nice boat.
That motor is a 1962 Evinrude Lark. I guess the owner doesn't know what he has.
