absolutely gorgeous boat! and superb craftsmanship building her. i always wanted to build my own boat like yours, you should be very proud of what you have accomplished, thank you for sharing.
i have been wanting to build a cold molded mahogany runabout with modern i/o for years. Can't find what i want on Glen L. This model is gorgeous. Are the plans available for purchase somewhere? Excellent video.
Its the Yon'e 22 build by bill yonescu here is the original video czcams.com/video/UG0-XPOwrxo/video.html . I believe he modified the glen L tahoe to accept the i/o you can find some info on the glen L forum about this boat i think.
thanks for this fast videos but i don't see the chimes to throw the water down and away from the boat like ones sold at a professinal boat building company i do hope you did add some 4lb density foam and 8lb around the gas tanks for positive boyance
What about stress factors on the hull if you change the direction of the planks? I would like to see some numbers on that, I suspect that the hull can't take as much punisment with vertical alignment. I guess it's fine for ponds. lol
So this is called a cold molded hull. The Carolina sport fishing boats that cross breaking wave bars are built this way. The misaligned fiber orientation is actually stronger on the bias because it’s going to provide strength in all directions, and not just the vertical plane. The cold molded boats of this style, bayliss, Spencer, Jarrett bay, Merritt, etc are all more efficient and faster than a molded boat like a Viking or Hatteras.
I don't know exactly what model is. It seems a Riva, something between the Riva aquarama and aquarama junior. I'm building a RC Riva aquarama. 1 meter long. If you look in Google you will find the plans.

Diagonal plank that's how they made the PT boats

I'm thinking of wave power here.

Please can you send me a drawing details and dimensions for importantly pieces. Thanks
I wonder how much it cost when you buy
slow it down so we can see what you doing
I think it took 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 cause I see the night and no one when it was dark
Sooo... I'm thinkong of creating a small scale model of this boat. Anyone know where I can find some blueprints or something?

I did it myself with the Woodglut plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
