      Great video content! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you thought about - t.co/kQ5Ho0n9fD It is an awesome exclusive guide for building better boats without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate at very last got astronomical success with it.?

      Thanks for the compliments. The CS-21 on our website is my personal boat that I designed - built and that started the business. This video is showing how to assemble the 21 jig kit to build your own. We are not building another 21.

      Thanks. The CS-21 on our website is a completed boat. This video shows customers how to assemble the jig kit for building their own boat. We are not doing a video series on how to build this boat.

    A curious question. what kind of weather can these boats take?

    • @StangV2
      @StangV2 Před rokem

      It will depend on what spec they have built it too. But to give an example, another boat manufacturer built a 90ft wooden hull to ABS spec. This mean that it can handle 8-ft seas at 50 knots.

    You are using steel screws on a wooden boat and they have to be brass or bronze to avoid iron rot.

    • @saltboatworks1139
      @saltboatworks1139  Před 4 lety +1

      You are correct. This video is a demo/test fit of the jig, all screws are temporary. On a related note, we use these steel drywall screws with fender washers fo temporarily hold things together until the epoxy cures, they are removed after that.

    The cuts are nice done, at least fits very well. What is strange for my side, you are using screws but no glue at all… specially a strong glue on the joints. Hope to see more videos.

    Is it safe to assume all of the marine plywood shown in the video becomes parts of the actual boat and is included in the kit? 18 or 21?
