- Everyday technology is growing, this type of tool is being abandoned. They came to my country with used containers. The reason is that battery powered tools are replacing them. I found this tool from a Japanese recycling shop for $10. I modified this tool to run with 20V battery and perform really well. You will find it in detail in this video.

That thing is awesome! Although DeWalt battery doesn't have BMS. So you need to be careful not to discharge the battery too much, because there isn't now any safeguard to ensure that.

Hi, since you used a 3-wire cable you could have used the extra wire to bypass the switch on the tool using a 3 position switch on the battery holder (if there was enough space)
I'm a Huge fan of your work, I love the way you present your restoration and it means a lot to us when we are in need of such DIY restorations.
My only request is to see you restoring a Table Fan and making it run with 12v Bosch powertool Battery and an 895 DC motor, so that it could serve as an emergency fan in times of power outages who's is very important for fathers of small babies like me

You might have something here, I'd suggest you try and get it sold to a larger brand as some hand held multi trimmer for people that don't require full sized mowers but also need to be light trimming on bushes and stuff.
