Is anyone paying attention to how complex are his shoots? like: several cameras + drone + sound etc.. impressive man!
That is what he did before he started doing this youtube stuff. He was a photography guy.
He has a degree for audio engineering!
The design makes this so much complex
@@soumyamukherjee02 more like, the design reveals how complex this is hahaha. The data is very clear and i love it
He’s all about quality
20/10 would hop again
The level of engineering is insane!
Can I ask why? I'm not smart enough to actually comprehend everything taking place on this craft.
Jordan Davis Just the structure itself is a complex design. It takes a long time to design and 3D print parts. The programming of the flight computer takes skill too.
@@onlyfacetious1185 Okay cool, that's kinda what I had in mind. I need to back to school man haha. But thanks for taking time out of your day to explain. Have a good one!
Jordan Davis No problem. As an engineering student I should know 😂
He earned himself and engineering degree already. I like how he uses his actual degree to make music for the channel. Very nice touch but I doubt it is appreciated enough
The vibe of iron man first flight test can be felt here.
All it needed was a crash at the end with a robot arm coming into frame wielding a fire extinguisher nozzle.
This is kind of like watching the Falcon 9R Dev footage
theres F9 dev footage?
@@Markharlan95 yeah look up Falcon9R dev and you should see it
Well then I'm not gonna do my homework now.
me too
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Me 3
fuc you reminded me
i have test on numerical method and trigonometric and exponential differentiation tomorrow first thing and i'm completely lost on implicit differentiation (⌣̩̩́_⌣̩̩̀)
I hope Elon Musk finds out this channel and gives him funding.
Go tweet him
Oh Elon knows who Joey B is
Lucas Brown Of course I know him, he’s me!
Of course he knows, it's literally a clone of Elone..
I think Joe wants a paycheck, not a check...
Joey B kinda looks like a dad watching his kid play sports in these test videos ;p
But in all seriousness that thing is looking pretty stable! Best of luck for some LARGE diverts
The kid is givin' it his all up there, really proud of him
@@BPSspace Your post test comments litterally sounded lika a parent post goal or whatever lol.
Idk why but the clips of the TVC fins just twitching back and forth ever so slightly is my favorite part of this video, other than the news of more rockets to come
Love theses videos and the stress I see in your body language is exactly like mine when I started flying drones 10 years ago. Keep up the amazing work.
Joe, thanks for the update and the test footage. Great work & great accomplishment. It's never wasted time to examine ways to do something "better". When that bears fruit it pays back multiples on the time invested. Thank you for keeping us in the loop.
That was amazing , so stable in-flight the way it revs up just before take off figures out flying control position like its getting a feel for the wind and enviroment and tjen up it goes, absolutely fantastic, well done Joe great work .
Joe, this is awesome. The constant learning and adapting to test results is just fantastic.
Good stuff mr milkman! Always a pleasure to make stuff:) if you need anything else let me know!
Excellent work.
When I was designing a focal control system for the human eye - I was thinking about this type of control system stability.
Thank you, Joe.
This is impressive!
3:45
*Sprite:* Look I can hover!
*Joe:* Hold my beer
Well, that was freaking awesome. I love the progress you've been making Joey B!! Respect.
Dude, you're a stud! It works so impressively well. Awesome telemetry.
Great work JB. Thanks for sharing.
90% of the time I have no idea what you are talking about but your videos are still the coolest thing ever, keep it up!!!
Your attention to detail is level 100. Great video.
That’s a pretty amazing project. Well done! Looking forward to seeing more.
Nice video Joe, way to do it.Very entertaining. Thanks
Looks amazing man! Great job and good luck!
fantastic work and stability.
Very impressive stability, especially in the wind. Amazing work you're doing!
I'mma build me one of these! Honestly just the blinking lights alone make it look 5x cooler. Keep up the amazing work!
Man the quality on these videos has gone up quite a bit! Love watching, so keep making:)
Those stators are a massive improvement, love the progress!
Really cool. Sprite looks cooler than I thought it would be. Surprisingly stable
Literally the most complex but awesome drone I've ever seen
This is INCREDIBLE!!!!!
AWESOME JOE! Great Job! Livin' the dream!
I have a huge respect for you and the work you are doing! :)
Amazing craft and guidance software! Fantastic work.
Sprite is awesome! Great production quality too.
I love your work man 👊🏼👌🏽💯💯
I got real Tony Stark building Mark 2 vibes with you narrating into the camera and spouting technical jargon, it was great
Very impressive! I wish I had the time to do something like this. You reminded me of a father watching his toddler taking her first steps!
Just fantastic!
The sprite is pretty awesome!!
Awesome work. Thanks for posting.
Nice! That was pretty cool to see it leaning into the wind.
"No guys, we cant train our drifting on the parking lot today, the crazy guys blocking the site again"
You do stuff that’s cool. Love the video updates of what’s cooking
Your such a 1 man team boss I'm just blown away
I'm super hyped on your success with Sprite, you are one your way to have a successful launch with a and landings of a rocket you are super inspirational thx for doing what you do keep it up
For a while, I wondered where you were going with this project, but I get it now (makes more sense after the afterburner explanation). This is cool af...
Great video mate, very good outcome. Brilliant idea to add the stator ring to provide anti roll of the body.👍👍😊
I love it! Every sprite flight makes me very nervous!!
You do cool stuff.
Thanks,
John
Well done that was amazing
I'm just amazed by this software and processing power that your MCU provides nice job
This is so great! Keep it up!
This is gold
Its so cute how it looks like its doing just fine on its own but Joe is super worried for his baby and doesnt want it to get hurt.
Awesome job bro....
Thank you that was Brilliant . Keep going
Hard work is paying ❤
wow man first time i see the UI really nice done
Sproite ✊👌
That was way cool man.
Looking Good Joe!
Looks solid....awesome!
that's just impressive, granted i know a lot of stuff on how to build stuff like this is out there. But the amount of work and general knowledge needed to make something like this is not a small task. Then add in the fact you are doing this pretty much by yourself, is just crazy.
Beautiful video quality 👍
THIS IS AWESOME!!!
my hero! kudos man..
Good job!
Always the best audio used
Love your music, can't wait until you upload it!
Sooo when will you work on liquid fuel rockets???
Asking for a friend
This is the best f--in channel on the whole of CZcams!
Awesome! You made a drone!
Dope ! That's bad ass 😎
Tu eres un mounstro...!!! Te felicito hermano...!! 💪🏻
This thing is bad ass!!!
I’m glad I rewatched this just because I got to hear 16:10 “Okay we’ve got the marshmallow, under the vehicle…”
so cool 👌🏽💯
man i really wanna see elon musk react to you
omg joe no kidding you look exactly like elon
lol
I was hoping I wasn't the only one that thought that. He even has a lot of the same facial expressions and mannerisms.
Joe I’m happy you decided to remove the after burner. I think that it was in your way and I’m glad you have refocused on what matters.
This is so cool! Can’t wait to see higher altitude flights and sprint! Also I have a good recommendation, you should have a parachute for an abort.
Congrats
16:20 The moment where the flame hits the marshmallow is hilarious!
Such and awesome channel
Those nice men from the Pentagon: on the way they are. See you they must.
Itar needs to be deregulated on the knowledge ( imagine of aircraft was to same way as peace time commercial aviation I bet we wouldn’t see as many if any passengers services aka no American Airlines ) side and not so much on the manufacturing side as to protect local workers and regional government. The reason why I feel and think 🤔 this way is because it’s stifling innovation and protecting “ the old boys club “ plus most of the modernised 1 world country’s and trying to start space taxes aka maned space economies or at least that’s what there publicising to the general public.
Besides which Cold War secrets are no more for the most part ( and evan if it was that’s what spy’s do for $ and or r&d money is for if you’re ussr ) and some fairly average people have seen things like rocket 🚀 engines and or parts and not every one what’s one for the garage the same thing and airplanes or is a terrorist / evil soviet spy 😂
Need a few more colours ;)
Hovering state, descending state and propulsion cool down are all the same blue.
Actually, it is only at the end, when it is about to come down that all the colours swap to blue, any reason why?
You’re amazing!
Your build is amazing. You know space x is hiring. ;)
Bru. Great work .Cant stop watching your stuff. You deserve all good things that will come your way. I hope you get mayor funding.. Frobes watch out . New Billionaire on the block.
Awesome
Inspiring
Hi MR. BEPIS! Have u thought of putting springs on the landing legs to help Sprite land more smoothly and without a jolt on impact? U can add them on the end of each leg end and the "cushion" system could be like a pen's spring(without the lock in place mechanism).
Best of luck with Sprint!
Sprite*
Chase Kieselbach you would want a damper rather than a spring
@@Oli420X both sprite and sprint exist
@@JonnyD3ath Yes. That could also work. With a spring you would have potential energy stored that could be used as kinetic energy during take off.
THEY FLY NOW
Great work ;-)
So this is a rocketry channel that is making a drone
Bravo.
Gotta trust your baby-sprite more. It was so funny watching you "spot" Sprite's landing... reminds me of teaching my son to ride a bike.
Awesome! Love the hoodie! And didn't care about the redundant afterburner anyway 😅
Impresionante amigo
