    If you're having problems getting metal parts made then you should turn to the You Tube Machinist community. Brian Block doesn't live to far from you an he is an excellent machinist. NYC CNC does a lot of collaboration with other You Tubers,

      Nah, he looks like a guy I met in prison, he was doing life for murdering his asian mail order bride
      Because she wanted a divorce, he was so narcissistic, He wanted everybody to call him "Phoenix".
      I remember one time he was talking down to this gay black guy, saying "I can talk to you however I want" Wrong!, That black dude proceeded to slap the shit out of him soooooo bad.
      He washed his clothes once a month and always look like a rag doll, while walking around like his shit didn't stink.

    Yay, quick and dirty videos work great!! It is very helpful that you are slow with your camera movements while looking at the vehicle. It gives people enough time to look at the details of the components. Very helpful and cool

    This was very good video, I enjoyed it. I know you have expressed your concerns about quality but I don't see any problems, the fact that you are well spoken on its own makes for a really high quality video and in addition you are working on a damn complex craft that looks really cool. I am definitely up for more engineering content at the expense of your editing time!

    This looks like such an awesome project. I don’t do rocketry or anything of the like (unless CNC counts) and I still watch all these videos because the engineering is just so impressive.     There is a lot more to rocketry then just the rockets. Launch pads, Mission control, Tracking, etc... all seem right on point. No worries man.

    "Gear On Ground". That's an interesting term. In aviation, we call that system "Weight On Wheels", or WOW. Various types of WOW switches exist, and are often called "Squat switches", as most aircraft have oleo struts of some sort. Rockets don't have wheels, so GOG it is! I really love this channel, btw.

    This is a fantastic project. Maybe switch out the butane pyro for a cold gas thruster system for lateral stability? Just a suggestion I thought I'd throw out there. Keep building!

    I know you say you don't want it to produce thrust, but a compressor style narrowing and shielded injection/ignition points for the butane would produce a bunch more anyway for shizzles and giggles

    Soldering on the Servo wires might add some stability on the signals, vibrations/ g-force with those connectors is waiting for possible problems down the line. It's plug and play, but if there's any of that play on any of the pins- playtime's over...

    wondering how you manage weight and balance. with 2 batt on one side ... why no nozzle?
    also don't you want to mount both computers behind the cage? the board is strapped to outside frame....one bad tip could damage it no?

    I just found your channel and I'm loving it! I always wanted to get into the world of amateur rocketry. But on a side note, Next part you need CNCed that can be done with a 5 axis mill , Ill would love to make the part for you for free (if you will let me) as i have been wanting to make more machining youtube videos (plus I love youtube collab videos, its how I found this channel) but I cant show the stuff I normally make as its my customers intellectual property.     After burning ducted fan has been used since the 30's.
    If you ran the vanes perpendicular as scoops you could use them all at once to cut thrust on a solid rocket on landing.
    You do know a pixhawk with ardupilot would run this off the shelf?

    The visual of rockets flying around the world and landing is super inspiring.
    On top of that... You find a way to move raw materials into low income communities at the same time people like Bill Pulte is clearing blight and freeing land and others are undergoing building projects that is also a life transforming idea.
