How to adjust the FLC so you can use the zipper or take out all the slack out of the back so it doesn't catch and you don't look like a soup sandwich. check out my other videos for more how-to on military gear.

My great uncle was in the 2ID in WWII. He operated a landing craft on D-Day and built bridges across Europe. He was drafted when he was 36 in 1943.

Thank you!!!! This civilian just got one and I’m not quiet shaped around the abdomen the same as your average young soldier ( young I’m not). I’ve been really frustrated trying to get this thing big enough where it can be zipped. You look like you have some great kids. Thank you for your service and thank them for me for their sacrifice on behalf of our country, not having you around as much as I’m sure they would like. Used this in Iraq. Protip, zip it up and leave it zipped, pull the adjustment belt through the front and then it is easy to adjust for body armor/layers

Thanks for the tips, shame I think it's just too big waist wise. I've spent a combined 8 hours adjusting the damn thing but it's just impossible to make it tight enough to not have a bunch of material sticking out in the back.
