Watching the two of you working on that Crosley; you look like brothers from different mothers; especially when you both have the specs on! Love the content from both your channels; keep it up.
Great partnership, both really good on your own but the two creative brains working together occasionally bouncing ideas ,looking forward to all the creations .cheers Will
great you TWINS got the crosley engine ticking over...yes the Lafrance fire truck engine..google Rod Hadfield v12 lafrance topolino hotrod in Australia...`Huge engine..would run on 6 cylinders to run the water pump hence 2 dizzys....good luck with that build
From the mild manners of the Crosley to the wild untamed ( It will be a beast in anything smaller than a Yank fire truck ) anarchy of the Lafrance. I can't help but think of Waylon Wire's V12 rat rod truck with the tartan rocker covers.

now a complete La France is something Mrs Tweed put her foot down and said no way!!!.....so I have some deep trauma over these.....so if you need a hand getting it running I have a big crowbar and at least 2 large Transit batteries and heavy duty jump leads to hand.......also after 3 years of sitting in the garage the Suzuki K10P started second kick so the race is on.....
funnily enough the YG1 has just had a solid outing - it was all going well until we got a puncture at 50mph - 2 up! I may take you up on those batteries and you are most welcome to be in attendance for its first (attempted) start up. Need to make a jolly solid frame for it first (with wheels!)
@@thebracketfactory i think what you're describing is called a chassis 😁, the puncture sounds like a bit of a bum squeaky moment!!! Glad you saved it...and yourselves of course.
@@TweedsGarage well there is going to be an 'intermediate' step... think '2nd world war bomb trolley'.... That lump is going to take some manoeuvring ! Inner tube for YG1 arrived today so should be back in the road soon!
Love this dream team. Great to have two videos for the price of one. You two need to rescue a Barnfind. 👍👍
we're working on it!

Fortunately our eyes are as bad as each others so we can borrow each others specs when we loose the (every few minutes...)
What a team. Like bacon & eggs. The Crosley is a sweet engine. Some mods to the intake and exhaust system should bring it up a few hp.
haha - trying to work out who is bacon and who is eggs!!

haha! We can't be twins as Bryan is MUCH older than me... (1 month..!!)
@@thebracketfactory hahaha
Excellent stuff. If only you’d already got a 12 cylinder engined car you could drop the La France lump into.
hmm... if only !

not sure what the V12 will go in yet... but it'll deffo be pre-war (and quite big!)
AWESOME.
Cheers David!
Nicely done guys
Cheers Andrew!
“Robert’s your Relative……”
and fanny's your aunt! More antics coming soon!
Massive engine that American LeFrance, flat head? Destination not likely a single-seater, wouldn't want to straddle that beast. Thanks.
not entirely sure what it's going in yet... but it'll have to be big!
I want to know what going to happen with that V12. Worked on aviation engine with twin spark. But this beast is more worrying
stay tuned!!!
Excellent stuff!
On B's latest video you brought some exhaust gasket material with you - what is it please? I need a bit
