I don’t think I have the knowledge and power to do something to that scale. This turbo kit is decent but it can be improved.
Could you upload your tune? That way we can download and paste if we have the same kit!
The best sounding least restrictive muffler I've used is the aero turbine 2540i. They got bought out by jones exhaust so as far as I know the jones brand is the same thing. One one of my old cars I went from straight pipe exhaust to the aero turbine and I actually picked up a few mpg on the highway.

@@BulliKid yes they are good quality and no packing to wear out. I feel like a salesman because I tell everyone about them. Every car I've had one on people said it sounded good and asked what I had on it. My buddy actually had one on his civic si and it was deep sounding. Also I have a vid on my channel of it in my turbo cobalt.

Anyone who know squat about tuning exhausts, knows that changing mufflers on a restrictive exhaust tubing, is a complete waste of time. Honda uses a pipe that looks like it was built for a lawnmower!

What’s up bulli brother. I noticed you have a wrapped steering wheel like mine. Those things are cool. Unfortunately my 06 Civics steering wheel started to peel and a large chunk eventually came off of the top portion of the steering wheel. All in all my steering wheel is as skinny as Somalis ankles. So after I got done using that wrap like the one you have, I then put over it a normal steering wheel cover. It works. But I miss the texture of the synthetic leather that the wrap has. Oh well. Always have your car running at peak performance at all times and you can have it for a lifetime. Edit: watch out! Don’t let this thing take all your dough. Civics are so easy to throw $$ at.
Your best bet is get a better wheel from a junkyard and swap it in. And then do a leather wrap around that wheel to preserve it. Thanks for the comment. And yes, it can become a money pit if you let it. I’m trying to keep it at a happy place.

Just subbed literally have the same exact identical Civic and will start making transformation videos I love the blue it really pops I plan on taking that concrete block of a muffler out and leave the res in kinda afraid to take the resonator off too cos I may not want to suffer from ear bleed ha ha! My civic is getting a whole new exhaust system wished I could afford the skunk 2 but not gonna happen found one from DC Sports the r18 is an awesome motor and my civic is pretty quick for what it is

Yes they are oem. Only made in 2012 from the civic si.
Yea the R18 is great. That’s exactly how I drive but I am NA, non turbo and it’s still pretty great. I can’t imagine how much better it would feel with how responsive yours is. Thoughts on stage 2 skunk 2 cam upgrade?
Don’t wana bother opening it up for a cam. Would take to much work and this is daily.

Also, a turbo acts as a muffler, so it wouldn’t have been louder than NA with the muffler cut off. And the more flow the better, toss the cat, and just have a 3” pipe either all the way to the back or straight dump to the ground. Anything smaller than 3” is just too small for turbo applications. NA you can get away with 2-2 1/2

It would have to be custom. I’m sure you can make it pop to some degree. Would probably require someone that’s an experience tuner

I’m not sure on power honestly. But it’s definatly faster and a Lot more torque. Feels amazing for city and highway merging now.
I guess that's maxspeeding adjustable shocks.... How was that compared to stock ones
I like them. A lot more stiff and help the car in cornering.

I have to respect the boundaries or else I will have problems. At this point with this being my daily driver I need it as reliable as possible so I am definitely sacrificing power for reliability.

I'm getting a 2007 Auto, how is the transmission holding up with the turbo?
It held up fine with low boost. Still not ideal to have an auto with turbo but it worked for the time I was turbo

I’m looking into it too but seems like a lot of work. Maybe better just to buy a stickshift as a base to start with.

I got a spec d exhaust... Sounds good but fits like shit. 165 shipped. Best bet since you know how to weld is to bend and clamp out your own exhaust. Spec d said it was 2.5 inch exhaust but neither i.d nor o.d were. When I boost I'm just bending out my own exhaust.

Please use Jack stands. Been under these cars all my life and I’ve had 2 occasions where the Jack slipped.

So on 8 pounds of boost how much horsepower did you add?
I didn’t dyno it to test actual HP. But they say 1 pound is about 10 hp. I’m at 7 psi

It’s the same car? Engine? It’s vtec but not the same old vtec they had in the older Hondas. I explain that in my how to disable “vtec” video
Get an eBay 3 inch exhaust. They’re like 125$ and it’ll help the car breathe so much better.
The fit will probably suck with ebay kit.
@@BulliKid nah I had one on my r18 before I sold it and it was actually sturdy as hell; the fitment was great and I was pretty low so it got hit quite a few times and it never dented or buckled. It’s actually kinda cool how far eBay exhausts have come. Although it was a fart can 😂

@@BulliKid okay In that case I’ll build a new motor nothing crazy just new stock or 1 step up from stock then budget turbo, my car is manual and is a beater so I can delete ac without having to cut or fab a lot your videos made everything super simple I just need someone to do my tuning cause idk how to adjust timing or fuel
