Welcome back 😊
great to see a video back.
Welcome back, Sunday's are complete again.

The commitment of the viewers to crash head on into oncoming traffic just to get the channel back on track after a break is much appreciated

8:43 "When queuing use both lanes"
Everyone in that clip "no, I don't think I will".
Yeah he was doing so well until he forgot the “merge” part when his lane came to an end so is a total cock womble for doing down the side of the van and trying the bin lorry
That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard.
Such a waste of tarmac.
They love a good queue! Especially the Queue Police there at the end.
@@anto687 To be fair, the "Queue Police" at the end were in the right. Cammer was correct to use the right hand lane all the way up to when the lanes start to converge, then it's time to merge. He didn't and just carried on trying to squeeze through at a point where there are no longer two lanes, should have pulled in behind the white flatbed at the latest.
1:03 well done Dave, you guard that lane with your life! How dare someone try to merge.
Dick move, yes - but still cannot force your way in as the Porsche has to give way and wait if needed - Highway Code should be read before you're attempting to drive.
@@dragonsmonkyeah the SUV should be waiting to join, but dave trying to make an event is just as stupid, if not worse. It's like he's trying to crash. A car going in front of you in slow moving traffic isn't going to affect or delay your journey any further.
If you think dave here is blameless, you shouldn't drive either.
@@pawtrolling if you read my comment, the first two words literally say "dick move" and that was not in relation to the SUV.
However, legally the SUV is the one in trouble, not the cammer.
@@dragonsmonk I read it, and I think speeding up to close the gap and incite a crash is a lot worse than moving over at the end of the lane in this case.
Going back 1 car in the queue in a slow moving motorway isn't the end of the world. It's a complete over-reaction amd one day it'll end with him getting assaulted if he carries on.
As frustrating as it can be for some people, you're far better off just letting idiots get on with it and not damaging your own car, even if it's just for the sake of saving time from not having to do insurance paperwork.
This is what happens when two idiots meet on the roads. First, the Porsche should be indicating an intent to enter the lane. Otherwise, he's actually getting it right, positioning himself correctly for a merge in turn. But then there is David, who is an arsehole, refusing to accept that in the reverse situation where he would be trying to join he would actually quite like someone to let him in and keep everyone moving.
The lesson "Treat others as you would wish to be treated" would do well to be re-learned.
The Porche is obviously also an arsehole because of the way he changes lanes without indicating.
09:13 Emmanuel has provided the perfect example of why people hate merge in turn. Did everything correctly up until the point they decided to try and squeeze through a none existent gap to get a couple of extra places ahead. They should have either been behind the Audi or behind the flatbed van.
Yeah i said the same. The wife was shocked he went that far down, but it was thr right thing to do right up until he tried to overtake the flatbed behind the bin lorry
It's what you're meant to do.... But when the road was narrowing then is a good time to merge, he went a little too far so made it tricky
If that dustcart hadn't pulled to the right then he'd have tried squeezing past that too
Yep, was right to use all the road up to the merge point, was definitely being a cnut trying to gain two cars when there was a good space just behind though.
If everyone else had done as they were told and used both lanes and merged in turn at the end, then the merge point would have been obvious - just two behind the car in front.
Sunday hasn't felt right without a UK Dash Cameras upload.
I'm in New zealand and I always watch them on my morning break at work on Monday, it's been an odd month without my regular Monday fix of Twattery from back home.
Thought he had been banned.....
I feel Nick’s pain, been doing a lot of long distance driving recently and middle laners are legit an epidemic. They cause soo many delays it’s unreal
Wouldn’t have been a problem if he wasn’t speeding…..
Highway Code .264 - keep in the left lane unless overtaking. Them speeding is irrelevant as that car shouldn’t be sat in the middle lane in the first place
Lets build a motorway with 3 lanes - result dual carriageway.
@@foggy90 Its always looks like speeding if other cars doing 50s in middle lane 🙄
No MarioMsn321, the speeding is relevant, it’s the law. If Nick had been driving at an indicated 70 he wouldn’t even have caught up with the lane-hogger. Everyone knows that 70 on GPS is over 70 on the speedo.
5:39 TOTW award goes to "anonymous" who clearly knew they were at fault by being too cowardly to put their name on it. Black van slowed and moved over, if anonymous had done the same situation would have been avoided.
It because he thinks he owns the road so its upto everyone else to get out his way
Slow down, ease past, job done.
Already lost a wing mirror, might as well flat spot the tyres - Anon
jesus christ that first clip is absolutely terrifying. the idea of a car just hurtling towards me and I'm powerless to do anything about it is one of my greatest fears. I hope Owain's okay?
He also submitted this clip to me & this is what he wrote in his email. "The driver who hit me pleaded guilty for drug driving, no insurance, obtaining insurance fraudulently and dangerous driving causing serious harm he was 7 times over the cocaine limit. Lucky both me and my girlfriend survived all tho with injuries I broke my right tibia and fibula causing the bone to come out of the skin and a broken rib, luckily my girlfriend got away bit luckier with bad whiplash, cracked rib and two black eyes." Drug limit is 10 micrograms per litre of blood.
And probably received a slap on the wrist.
At 2 o' clock in the afternoon on a clear road. Can happen to any of us, sadly....
Powerless? Just turn left and avoid the accident, instead of "chasing" the oncomming car and turing right towards him.
@@K9DashCams There's a limit on how much cocaine can be in your body when driving!!!
Damn, I thought it was illegal, gotta make a phone call................
8:33 - That massive tailback is caused purely by British queue etiquette gone mad. Really think there needs to be some government advertising to change people’s mindsets and get traffic moving faster.
Yes as evidenced by the two dickheads at the end of the video moving over in an attempt to block the cammer. 🙄 I don’t want too many people knowing about using both lanes. It assists the rest of us who do know to use them! 😉
I'm english but now live in New zealand and this never, ever happens here, the driving standard here is far lower than the uk in general but we do the whole "use the entire road and merge like a zip" impeccably well.
We need a good old fashioned PSA run during peak TV watch times, that might help.
Whilst I agree that using 'merge in turn' properly would be a good thing, it wouldn't make the traffic move any faster, it would simply shorten the queue (physically, but not in terms of time queuing). Any individual car in the queue would not get past the obstruction any faster regardless of the queuing technique.
There is, it’s called the Highway Code, unfortunately no one reads it once they’ve passed their test
5:15 even when you set your dashcam to only show 2 frames a second we can still tell you're going way too fast...
It shows his speed. He's doing just over 40mph. And due to frame issue you can't compare it to the speed of vehicles in left lane
@@666Tazerhe’s driving like an idiot.
Jake W. He needs to add 'anker' after the 'W'.
was going fast but looked like the range rover nearly caused an accident just to avoid merge in turn
his speed was there and it said 54, which could be accurate or could be a bit off since its not the cars speedo or anything accurate. it feels like this comment was in such a rush to make a "gotcha" that you didnt actually look for the speed written on the screen.
8:33 so everyone just ignored the multiple enormous red signs that use both lanes?
The British mental illness
It's the British way, doncha know.
We love a good queue in the UK, like Pedro said it's the British way! 🤣
@@RichO1701e Oh, we're not the only ones.. in the states, some of them have made it law not to queue properly, rather than just pigheaded driving.
What? The lane was closed, and the wanker decided they would bypass everyone and cut in. They are the sort of cunt that ignores red X signs on the motorway.

@@lauren097 🤣 I do, i love watching them 🤣I mean the person they threaten with it doesn't care lol
@Joey P Hahaha okay gotcha 👍
5:42 Why is it that the other car had slowed and moved over as far as they could, while the cammer (who clearly thinks they're not at fault) just kept on going and hit the other car?
Slowing down is not sufficient. If the road is not wide enough to pass then you have to stop.
@@ditch3827 So both cars have to stop completely? How the fxxx does that work in your brain? The black van slowed down suitably and moved over, nothing else he could have done. Even if he'd stopped completely, the dickhead cammer would still have hit him.
@@d4ngerm4us It is really quite simple. If the road is not wide enough for two cars to pass you have to stop. If you are stationary and the other car hits you then it the other car's fault and not yours.
Suppose you were driving down a road the width of one car and another car came towards you. Would you really just slow and not stop? You have to stop if you cant get past.
@@ditch3827 even if the other driver stopped cammer didn't even attempt to slow down 🤦
@@caraprice8894 Very true, but the other driver didn't stop and so has to share some of the blame.
Welcome back! I'm pretty sure at 1:07 the Porsche was perfectly right to use the whole of the road when merging. "He has come right to the end before merging" is the right thing to do. Blocking him from merging in turn was a stupid thing to do.
How does nobody at 9:20 understand using all the road and merging in-turn?! There's bloody signs
When changing lanes you do not have priority, so had there been an accident the Porsche driver would have been found at fault.
Agreed, slip roads are that long for a reason!
Aiden as much as I hate those Porsche things, you're right
@@frogandspanner Rule 134 of the highway code: "Merging in turn (from a slip road in this case) is recommended but only if safe and appropriate when vehicles are travelling at a very low speed", yes give way to free-flowing traffic, but for slow traffic you should merge in turn and use all the available slip road. Merging in-turn involves the driver on the carriageway giving way (in turn) to merging traffic in slow conditions. It's basically a lane closure situation.
@frogandspanner yes of course, the Porsche shouldn't just force his way in, but that dosen't mean the dash cammer isn't an arsehole, just hold back a bit and let them in, then everyone gets on with their day safely.
Fair play to Road Angel, marketing their lack of screen and thermal inefficiency as ‘features’
😂
And those "other" dashcams with screens are not broadcasting the whole journey, they black out after a minute or so. But let's keep this in secret :P
Btw, without a screen, how you're meant to adjust the direction of your camera?
Most likely because it's the same as any other dashcam out there.... if you look it up, most cameras, incl the expensive ones use a chipset from 2015....

Good to see you back.
Agreed. Seriously crap driving in this one.
7:55 I like to circle people who are doing this. I just keep pulling back into lane one, slowing so they pass me, then going around them again. And I keep doing it until they notice something is up.
It's childish but you have to do something to ease the manotony.

Where I come from we call it "Belgian circle". It's a term that comes from bicylce races, I think.
Nick B (7:34) had to perfect chances for a record breaking "Belgian circle" right there. It goes like this: Pass the driver on the middle lane, move back to the outer lane, let the driver in the middle lane pass you, and overtake them again on the right lane. The driver with the most completed circles wins.

@7:18 I'd have just carried on in the near side lane. No offense commited as the road ahead is clear. I do always make sure that the hard shoulder is available doing it in case the d head decides to pull over.
I prefer to do this aswell. Just complete ignorance and lack of consideration for other road users from them. It's dubious though, if you read the highway code it only permits passing on the left in slow moving traffic, which this clearly wasn't.
@@ryanmitcham5522 not illegal though, whereas middle lane hogging is. Not advisable, but it does piss people off so fair game I say. Although if you overtake on the right across two lanes you can pull back in across two lanes and give them the finger 😁

That was me! That clip and the blue van were on the same trip 10 minutes apart. Was bloody glad to park up safe at home that day
8:34 If You filled both lanes equally you can't jump the queue it's as simple as that. Fair play to to Emmaniel you have my support
Emmanuel is a Chad, lol at those queueing lemmings ignoring the big red MERGE IN TURN signs
People think it's rude to "jump a queue" (which is a myth), but not rude to block multiple junctions by creating an unnecessarily long queue
It annoys me when this gets labeled as queue jumping. It would be a queue jump if it was a single lane road and they drove on the wrong side then cut in, or if there was 2 lanes, but the left lane ended in a left turn only and the right lane was straight ahead, so you go down the straight ahead only to cut in at the last second knowing full well you always wanted to turn left (I never ever let those assholes in), but this is just using the road. A nice analogy someone used above was it's like queueing in a shop and there's 2 checkouts open, but people only queue to use one of them, then moan at you because you use your brain and go to the empty checkout.
@@paulharper4196 That isn't a good analogy though because the reality is that a merge has to happen at some point.
It would be similar to having 2 queues for 1 checkout. Then helping one person from queue A, then one from queue B, one from A again and so on.
And in that situation, if everyone just makes 1 big queue, there is no problem. If everyone makes 2 queues and goes to the queue that would get them taken care of the quickest, it would be no problem either. However, if most people make 1 big queue and then one or two people go to the other queue and get taken care of first, then it will certainly feel like they queue jumped. That is exactly what happens on the roads and exactly why people consider it queue jumping.
Obviously in reality people should always use both lanes to the fullest, mostly because there then is a controlled merge point where a zipper merge can occur. Otherwise you can't control where people merge and that is an issue because if people keep merging in at random points, the end of the queue could be stalled for much longer than it would be had both lanes been used to the fullest.
@@coen071993 I would still argue it isn't queue jumping, if you have the option of 2 available lanes (or lines to use the supermarket analogy) and you choose to get to the back of the longer line instead of going for the shorter line, that's on you. It's literally complaining because someone else engaged their brain and followed the rules while you, like a good npc, went to the longer line because everyone else did.
@@paulharper4196 Sure. That is why I said it would feel like queue jumping. People tend to consider it to be queue jumping, because it certainly feels like it. Obviously technically it wouldn't be and it is everyone's fault for not making two queues. I really do feel they should stress the use of 2 lanes and driving all the way until the merge point much more with signs etc.
1:07 perfect example of how to show us all how to escalate a nothing situation. Why not just let him merge like you're supposed to?
you could tell by the gap he left behind the truck he was a bellend. let him in. boom. 10 seconds thats at most
You're not obliged to 'allow' a merge. The onus is on the joining driver that should really, in that position, have pulled in behind the cammer. But yes, this was an unnecessary reaction at such slow speeds. Simple Common sense & courtesy should have prevailed.
@@SqueekyBums why should he be behind? There are millions cars behind the cam-car
@@SqueekyBums I'm sure the cammer doctored the clip to appear more in their favour but given the speed and position on the slip road I'd say the porsche could have easily merged ahead of the cammer if they weren't so precious about their position in the traffic

It's so good to have you back my friend. I hope all is okay with you.. 😊
8:33 At the supermarket when another checkout is opened people rush to it and queue. Lane open on the road so you get to your destination quicker...... No thanks, we're good here 🤦♂️
Great to see the first video for a while.
It's like you were never away! Welcome back.
Alan A: That's definitely way faster than 30mph, more like 40.
Tom W: Should have sat there make them go backwards. Make them feel like the inadequate drivers they are.
Emmanuel: It's crazy the number of times you see people queue up in one lane and leave the second lane empty and you always get some idiot who thinks it's their job to block that lane because they're unable to grasp how to use a second lane that merges in at the end. I have to say that's the longest I've seen that happen though!
Passing 3 dashes per second. Dashes are painted at 6m centres = 18m/s ≈ 40mph
Actually Tom W impressed me more by backing down than he would have by escalating the situation.
@@jeremypnet Escalation rather than backing down would have been perfectly appropriate. No risk to anyone. A chance of altering people's behaviour for the better.
That's what I thought looking at it. However, calculating the latitude and longitude differences between 3:24 and 3:28 on the video came out to almost exactly 30 mph.
It said N53.47518, W2.72988 at 3:24 and N53.47484, W2.73042 at 3:28
I didn't look frame-by-frame, so either position could have been any time in the seconds, so there is a big margin of error with only 4 seconds between readings.
The wide angle lenses on dashcams can make things look as though they are going faster.
@@MalinDixon I spend a LOT of time driving on the roads and that was definitely more than 30 and close to 40.
British people have a serious problem with only using 1 Lane when you're meant to use both lanes and merge at the end. It really annoys me when people block the other lane to stop people doing what they are meant to be doing! I think a lot of people do know what to do but get worried they will encounter one of those aggressive lane blockers so they just stick to the lane. We should start heavily fining people that block it. That will eventually teach everyone.
Emmanuel is the sort of driver that gives people who use merge lanes a bad name.
Using the lane was fine but cutting in front of the van was just cunty there was a gap behind him and it was narrow alongside him there was no need for it.
Really glad your uploading again
Thank God dash cam's back, I was getting worried 😂
At 5:00, irrespective of the other driver, methinks Lew P was going a bit fast for the circumstances. That was "threading the needle", rather...
They don't call him Lew P for nothing (loopy) 🤣
The same could be said for a number of these clips. It's almost like people need to be able to actually see you in time in order to be able to give way to you.
NickB, don't worry about going 2 lanes over and back again. Perfectly legal to keep going in the left lane. More legal than multiple lane change at once.
Not to mention filming himself speeding not once but twice…😂
Great to see you back.
Yay! You’re back
I have to say as well that for the life of me I don't understand why people need to just sit in the middle lane of a 3 lane motorway when there is nothing in the inside lane. I'm also slightly confused as to why cars can't stay in one lane on a r'about and think that indicators are an optional extra.....
Also confused why they chastise lane hogging whilst breaking the speed limit 🤔
As a non-resident, I'm amazed they find it safer to change multiple lanes to pass instead of just ... passing? Why change lanes 4 times when you have a completely open lane ahead of you?
@@gen157 Because there is always the danger that the middle lane hog will suddenly decide to move to the left just as you get alongside. I've had it happen, and it's scary as.
Are you seriously questioning why people drive in the middle lane on a 3-lane motorway??? That’s like asking if it would be okay to have an elephant as your pet or what kind of sandwich tastes best with jam.
Learn how to properly operate a vehicle before speaking such nonsense!!
@@datguy9717 Your reply makes no sense.
Are you trying to justify middle-lane hogging (which has sweet FA to do with elephants or sandwiches)?
Or did you miss the word "shouldn't" out somehow?
Emmanuel, if you'd nicked into that gap at 9:05, you'd still have made a good bit of ground, and NOT had that confrontation. You don't have to push to the max, you know...
Correct! Nothing wrong with using all road space, but why cause an issue!
Literally all he had to do was go behind the Van he confronted with rather than have a "fight" with them. There needs to be more awareness raised to "merge in turn".
@@iJobamaThat’s true, but we live in the real world where people are arse holes. I’d have just nipped into a gap earlier and avoid the nonsense as displayed here.
I did a similar thing in a long queue like this and slipped in front of a copper as the lanes converged and he didn’t bat an eye. Perfectly legit as long as you do it safely.
@@eddiebruv I'm with you on that one. 30yrs of cab driving gave me a pretty good idea of where gaps were likely to appear - and I'll admit to taking a few liberties when I thought my chances were good enough - M4/M25 junction being a favourite. I always took the attitude " I've made some ground, not going to push my luck, there's a gap; I'm having that". The overhead gantry would have been my warning; first gap I see will be mine. This chap just wanted to push as far as he absolutely could. Happily retired to rural Dorset, I don't get those situations much now (yay!).
You are meant to merge in turn at the constriction point. Merging before that makes the queue longer which can cause congestion and problems behind. Far better to obey the signs and the highway code and merge at the end.
Happy new year guys 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Woohoo!! Welcome back!! 😊
5:06........wow Jake W actually submitted that!
Definite Tit Of The Week
You aren’t supposed to queue up in one lane like that. Merge in turn is part of the Highway Code.
@user-tf4lk4fm7i If you can't see what is about to happen...
@@koncorde What's about to happen?
@@user-tf4lk4fm7i ...yeah, thought so.
Happy New Year and Happy Sunday, everyone! 😁 It's been a while since I've seen these videos!! Did my favourite task in work today (date-checking) and got roast beef dinner for tea (traditionally on a Sunday). Life's good!! 😁
Happy Sunday Josh 😀 its been a while. Roast beef is one of my favourites 😋 enjoy
@@Mark-lj1dj Thank you Mark! It has been a while! Thank you!
*It's 😛
Easily pleased eh Josh!
@@marks9351 Yep! Hehe
good to see u back
Welcome back!! 🎉😊
Do people just not check before they pull out of a junction anymore??
Also how hard is it to keep to your lane on a roundabout?
They probably just don't care
We don't any one to police it and driving tests are once and then forever on the road, it isn't going to get better!
If you're on a round-a-bouty and have a second or flash of doubty, don't make others shouty, just go round that round-a-bouty
You're back! 😀👍
Yay!! There goes the blood pressure again!! Witnessing witless numps like David T, Tom W and Paul('s mum?) causing completely unnecessary trouble just because it's "mah prioriteh" lol!!! Seriously though, welcome back, hope you're feeling more like it again, you've been missed!
7:15 Nick B. The national speed limit on a motorway for a car is 70mph.
Get a life. One of the emptiest motorways I've ever seen, literally 2 cars in frame. The fact the limit is still 70 is a testament to how pathetic and backwards our laws are.
Whilst that's true, it still doesn't entitle anyone to sit in the middle lane (or any overtaking lane) at 70mph just because they think nobody should be passing them.
@@tinyrodent2821 Who are you to tell me to get a life? Which other laws do you find inconvenient? Murder perhaps? Imbecile.
@@cargy930 Have you considered that if Nick had been obeying the speed limit he wouldn't have had any footage to submit? Both parties were at fault but Nick is the more dangerous of the two.
@@chaffycam3023 the car was going about 60mph in the middle lane on the first clip, he slowed down to 64mph to overtake, middle lane hogger much more dangerous.
Ayyy you back
What a strong comeback!
8:36 all of those muppets queuing in lane 1. Should use all of the available road space to keep traffic flowing, though the cammer could've merged in behind the white truck. Did everything correctly until they went too far, that's where all of the aggro comes from and why people prefer to queue..
How is queuing in 2 lanes keeping traffic flowing, exactly? Instead of a steady flow, you've now got a bottle neck...he got what he deserved...arrogant prick!
Nice of Nick B to send in footage of him doing 79mph on two separate occasions.
81 at the start.
I don't really understand his clip at all??
@@steven6918 The point was someone was in the middle lane rather than the left hand lane for no reason. But he passed them in an unnecessarily weird way and went well over the speed limit in the process.
@@Rob-ew9id doing 10 or 11 miles over the limit of a motorway in order to pass a vehicle that is sitting in the middle lane whilst the left lane is empty is entirely reasonable IMO, and Police are unlikely to pull you over for driving in such a manner.
It's the M18 quite common on that stretch for middle laners!
Sundays are now proper Sundays. Welcome back.
Welcome back :)
8:34 this puzzles me! usually people are overtaking on blind bends, jumping red lights and speeding around because they've got to be somewhere now! Put a sign up saying lane closed ahead and everyone becomes over compliant and happy to sit in one lane of slow moving traffic. We love a queue us Brits 🤣
Didn't the signs say "use both lanes" rather than "lane closed ahead" ?
@@ditch3827 usually says use both lanes and indicates a graphic lane closure with the distance underneath 👍
We need Public Information Films for Merge in Turn 😅
"When will all you morons learn : use all the lane then merge in turn!"
9:30 “merge in turn? I wonder what that could mean?!”
Awesome video
