This has been investigated over the past 10 months before charges were laid. He's cooked.
Anyone got a more pointless job than Alex crook
Someone has to watch Sky Sports and tell others what they're saying
Is there anyone more pointless than Alex Crook?
My cousin was a security guard for an empty building for 3 years
@@hustler666100 bro they are making sure no one enters and sleeps their.. tramps etc people also go to buildings to do drugs and other sorts. That’s why there is security in empty buildings.
@@Mozzywinters I should of pointed out I know that is why he was there but according to him nothing happened. He said he just use to watch films and TV series and just patrol the blindside of the building he couldnt see from his little building every hour
Never knew his first name was Lewis….
This is good news for Lucas Paqueta
Talksport are a joke - Alex Crook hasnt a clue he just repeats information from X
What makes it worst is it was betway West Ham’s shirt sponsor who first reported the situation to FIFA. Come on! The bets were made from an island in Brazil called Paqueta 😂
If paqueta has been match fixing that’s a multiple year ban 😂
His career is over if guilty and rightly so.
Spot fixing not match fixing. Hell get a very big ban but it's going to be very hard to prove he was actually involved. They've had months looking in to this and they have no more proof than when they started. If they find him guilty on the fact he probably could have been involved then it'll open up a can of worms where they'll have to look back through every big bet on players getting booked.
@@darreno2428 it was just so blatant.
one day, suddenly out of the blue, a few young lads in the city of Paqueta RJ, Brazil, placed the MAXIMUM bet allowed on Paqueta to get a yellow card, in west hams game against bournemouth.
one of these young lads is the brother of Paqueta. (this same brother thinks himself a bit of a gangstar and likes to take selfies in the favalas with the gangs while posing with their AK's)
then during the game Paqueta fouls every Bournemouth player he can lay his hands on, but somehow doesnt get booked.
then in the 94th minute he deliberately handballs. EVEN then he doesnt get booked!
So he starts arguing with the ref about a blatant deliberate handball untill the ref finally books him for back chatting.
if he is innocent then hes one of the most unlucky people to ever live because it would have to be the mother of all coincidences.
You will always get caught out when there are unusual betting patterns. Dont these players understand these sort of things are monitored. You are never going to beat the house.
There are so many things you can bet on in football its ridiculous. Getting yourself booked is so easy to do with football.
And?
Not just betting; alleged match fixing.
Bit of a stretch it's hardly match fixing, even so what they're accusing him of is an actual crime yet the police have not once been involved. 🤷♂️. I heard a couple of weeks ago that Paqueta has had lawyers look into suing the FA for scuppering a lucrative deal to Man City by taking so long to investigate. They'll have to have some hard evidence to prove his involvement, not just the fact that people have placed bets on him being booked and he then got booked, which apparently is all they have so far.
@@darreno2428 you dont press charges without proof. thats how you lose, you dont charge unless youre sure your going to win.
its basic lawfare.
“Spot fixing” is what is. He will get multi-year ban if found guilty
@@darreno2428 Getting deliberate cards is a type of match fixing as it might affect outcome of a game.
@@MrBrasserie if that's the case then all the people who are accused would lose a case, if paqueta is found not guilty them the FA will need to pay him
the pakistan cricketers went prison for something very similar only involving one match and received long term bans so it's not looking good
Why would he do this?? He makes more in an hour than what any of these bets will have been worth. If he wants to help some extended family or some friends get some extra cash, just give it to them out of your wages!! Why risk your career and your future earnings by doing something so stupid as this? Of course this is all if he is guilty but wow, what is wrong with these players
Give it a day and we'll be told that he's a gambling addict and we should worry about his mental health. I got the world's smallest violin ready to play.
It’s match fixing ya plum
Its not a betting addiction.
Its fixing.
Hes probably making a lot of his mates a lot of money from his actions on the pitch.
@@michael2908It's not though...match fixing is affecting the outcome of a game, which a yellow card doesn't do
Why would he wait until the 94th minute to get booked? All of the yellows are deep in the second half where he could of been subbed off.
it was just so blatant.

Getting a deliberate card is a type of match fixing because it may go some way towards affecting the outcome of a game. Some of these pundits clueless in downplaying it.
How would a yellow card affect the outcome of a game unless it's followed by a second yellow?
@@BurnCKCit changes how a player plays…surely you understand that?
Your performance can be dictated by the fact you’re on a yellow card, therefore it impacts the team and match result
@@BurnCKCyou answered your own question
Big ban if that’s true surely, tonali was never accused of anything like that, he just likes a punt and loses like the rest of us 😂
This is nothing like the Tonali case…
He was betting on himself to get booked. That's very different to just putting a few bets on.
He is not the only one. It is rife. Here in Australia 3 players so far for an A-League team, including the captain, (a Mexican) have been caught. Most get paid by Latin American Cartel groups. Sometimes, their family may be threatened too. Remember Luis Diaz for Liverpool. Maybe his father was taken due to him refusing to do what these cartel groups want. Gambling on sports should be illegal, except for maybe win or loss. But even that is a risk.
All bookies will be going back checking all bets on paq getting a card in every game this season worldwide 😂
What makes me laugh about this clip is how much they are stressing and making the point these are 'Allegations' he is 'Innocent until proven guilty' and they 'Have to be careful how they speak' as he has only been charged not found guilty of MATCH FIXING. Yet with Manchester City - 'Need to be relegated' 'Need titles stripped' 'Nothing but 115 cheats' Accusations and Slander every time the team is mentioned... Yet it is still only an allegations... They have been charged but not found guilty... So where is your fairness and non biased views there? 😂😂 Goes to show how bitter and leaving in a Dreamworld some pundits and fans are 😂😂
and some fans know full well that both man city and Paqueta are guilty as charged.
@@NeilLewis77 thank god for us all you aren't a Judge or Lawyer then 🤣🤣👍
Wonder how long it will take for him to be a gambling addict? I give it a week
He didn't put the bets on. This is all because people bet big on him to get booked and he got booked. It will be hard to prove that he was involved and if they don't have 100% proof he was but still find him guilty they'll be opening up a can of worms.
Also what they're suggesting he did is an actual crime and the police have not been involved.
Heard a few weeks ago that this might happen and the FA are panicking because Paqueta is looking at suing them for scuppering a lucrative deal to Man City by taking so long to investigate.
They Always end up a victim and not a criminal. It’s pathetic
@@elbaldy1946 he didn't put the bets on so I can't see him using that excuse.
I don't think that's gonna help him as much as others, this is a different case
@@JNRF5385 he'll still try it to protect his image I reckon
Granit Xhaka somehow managed to get away with the same, let's say, "allegation", so I wouldn't write-off his career just yet.
Granted these are multiple allegations rather than just one and The FA must feel confident they've got a strong case against him after such a long investigation.

How can these players need to do this??? And how does fa find out. These allegations sounds crazy. Are these plsyers being extorted by gangsters?
Paqueta has a brother back home who likes to act a bit like a gangsta.
he hangs around in the favelas and poses with AKs in selfies.
He is one of the people who suddenly made the maximum bet possible that Paqueta would get booked against bournemouth.
its obvious that Paqueta was just doing this so his brother could make money back home.
throw these greedy fooballers in jail, is say 200k a week not enough, the greed is damaging the sports reputation
Why does it take so long for these betting charges to drop on players? It took an age to charge Ivan Toney and even longer to ban him. Toney even got selected for England while under the cloud of these charges. Now we have Paqueta - it’s been known for many months he was suspected of gambling and only after the season has ended is he formally accused.
Investigations take time. Ask man city.
You can bet that a long ban is on the way , should be years at least he was trying to get booked durning matches
A corrupt industry getting upset with potential corruption
"Reported by a bookmaker"....oh the hypocrisy. Bookmakers do enough fixing of their own
Please charge Lewis Paqueta!! Then we can keep or sell Lucas Paqueta to City
He's won me a few quid, thought it was a bit odd a number 10 being a hatchet man. He made about 5 fouls against England
No one is "innocent until proven guilty." Idiots. The legalese is "PRESUMED innocent until proven guilty." And that is only in the eyes of a jury, not the public. Every time I hear hear some lead paint taste tester say, "innocent until proven guilty," I cringe.
before they get hold of Paqueta......why dont they solve mancity 115 charges
because man city have hired a massive team of really top level expensive lawyers to tie the FA up in court for years.
Everton on the other hand commited one offence and admitted it.
City deny all 115 charges.
How do you even prove that unless you can prove a link between him and the person placing the bet?
it was just so blatant.

Does his ban count away from the prem.
Seems to me spot fixing is not changing the outcome of the game. So it's more about defrauding the betting companies. I think he'd get a fairer hearing at a criminal court where he wouldn't be convicted without indisputable evidence. I'm assuming the FA hearing can convict you on the balance of probability. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Why is everyone here already condemning Paqueta as if he's guilty? People need to chill
That’s because they all live in a banana republic where an accusation automatically means you’re guilty. 😂
Bro was tonali teammate😅😅😅
The reputation of the premier league is on the line, it wouldn’t be made public if they didn’t think it was 100% true. It’s not betting it’s match fixing!
Tonali and Toney both admitted to there bets. Here as he says it's almost impossible to prove, apart from phone records, although he has been co-operating with authoritues. Who's to say it not just his people back home thinking, 'its Lucus again, know what he's like, blatantly getting booked' as they know his personality. What I see is people hoping he gets banned, with no evidence, but a corrupt FA, to back it up!
Because people are haters. They are doing the same with city's charges.
That’s 12 months out
Whos Lewis Paqueta?
It’s all speculation aren’t the FA OBLIGED to to get the police involved.👉⚒👈
no, its breaking the FA's rules but not the UK governments.
he didnt actually place any bets or make any money.
Now it looks so obvious he barely complained to the ref like the other players do, normally theyre up shouting at the ref with their hands over their mouths like theyre mobsters , when did footballers start acting like mafiosos
A diving, crybaby with a history of simulation is accused of cheating. Who would have guessed 🙄
And this is why he didn’t join Man City last summer. They got wind of it then. Wonder why Alex Crook did not mention why it fell through.
How can they even prove charges like this?
if they got a huge amount of bets on a random thing like if someone gets a yellow card it gets flagged as suspicious and then they see hes getting a card in every game that people are betting huge on . pretty obvious when you think about it.
So they can't prove it then?
Phone records or correspondence before a game, only. Otherwise it's all speculation. They prefer for the player to admit guilt, saves them time and effort.
if betting companies are stupid enough to allow bets on yellow cards then more fool them. Sick of the authorities falling over each other for betting companies. It's Wayne Shaw/Kieran Trippier all over again.
Whilst none of us are privy to all the information and quite rightly it is never wise particularly in the context of justice to pass judgement I have just watched the clip of the 4 yellow cards that are under investigation. Very very suspect yellow cards first of all but I was focusing on his overall body language and my impression was that this was a man offering very little protest to the cards and appeared almost content unconcerned 🤔🤔
What time in the matches did these booking take place if they are late in the game ask yourself why would he wait so long and risk substitution or injury , surely he would do it early in the game
@@markheyward9724 Think it through before commenting nonsense. If he does it early in the game he’s carrying a yellow for the rest of the game. Also if he does it early and gets injured in trying to get a yellow his manager his teammates and the fans are not going to be very pleased are they especially if it costs them the game 🤦🏻♂️🤔
Spot fixing........
That should be a lifetime ban or minimum 6-10 yrs.
Pakistan cricketers were banned for that length.
And this is not cricket 🤣🤣
@@PjMasks-qu6bbdoesn't matter. This type of charge should be big
Yeah you damage the whole integrity of the game. No one has any faith what they are watching is legit. A load of Snooker players who were fixing matches got lifetime bans.
@@shellsbignumber2 two players got lifetime bans and it was more for being ring-leaders/intimidation on the younger players. Most the rest of the players were banned for between 2 and 5 years.
This seems very difficult to prove. He'll get off if he has decent lawyers
Just hire Man City’s lawyers
Cor if found guilty he will get a three year ban maybe prison sentence
Pack him to Brazil 😂😂😂
City like theses type of players 😂😂😂
Shame, great little player him and Bowen.
It will be everyone else's fault but paquetas! They fa obviously have found something to accuse him of this.
Its match fixing pretty much, life ban or at least 2years
Lewis 🤦🏼♂️
This is some next level CORRUPTION in our game if Paqueta cant clear his name 🫣
Get a job on Talksport then
Lewis?
Match-fixing guys. Call a spade what it is
His real name is lime rabbit
Who r the judas who report him? Also Paqueta didn't even make a bet..how u do u prove he got yellow card on purpose ?? that's so weird. Did Bookies report him coz not happy lose huge amount of money??
Replace Yellow Card with a blue card. Will help to stop this and clean up the game. Otherwise, we might as well watch professional wrestling.
No smoke etc...,
Sounds like it would be hard to proof because we all know how inconsistent premier leagues referees are when it comes to giving players cards. Some players get away with murder on the pitch and others get cards for nothing.
All you have to prove is him purposely getting a yellow card. Not difficult at all.
@@CJ4YRD yeah really easy, it only took the FA 9 months to press charges on him, and still they might be wrong
@Pedro-jy2jg do you know the difference between a charge and a conviction?
@@CJ4YRD yes, but why do you ask? He wasn't convicted yet
@Pedro-jy2jg because it's a charge. No evidence has been reviewed yet you plank.
Hes done.
These guys make enough playing football, ridiculous
Is that an Abu Dhabi fan taking the moral high ground? Bet you’ve been telling everybody that City are innocent until proven guilty 😂
The people betting don't
Packetarrrr
Lewis 😂
Lewis? 😂
Should of sold him last season 😂 100M down the drain
Perhaps he will be able to drag the process out for the next who knows how many years like Man City
Lucas will never play in england again
Join City and get their lawyers to drag out the process. Could play another 10 years and win the ballon d’or
😂 why didn't you wait until he goes to man city you charge him added up to 116, the apple dont fall far from the tree. His destiny was to man city so add that to the tab 115 + 1= 116 no thanks to your tip.
Same opinion as Toney and Tonali. If hes guilty. Permanent ban from the sport should be in effect.
Different charges…. He will get a harsher punishment
Harry Toffolo didn't get a ban because he was able to prove he was a gambling addict. Whether you believe that or not is up to you but there is a way where he wouldn't necessarily be banned from football
@user-tu1bi9wl3e its not different at all. They all broke the rules, all of them should be banned permanently.
@CJ4YRD you don't make the rules
@@CJ4YRD different rules, different charges different punishments…. Get it? It’s different
well he thought he was going to man cheaty so thought he would get off
Therell probably be 115 other random charges dealt with before the big 115 are looked at 😂
