As someone mentioned the cables to stethoscope are a challenge. Amazingly , as a veterinarian in small animal practice, I have been using the stethoscope next to the dog or cat and I can record the sounds to be recorded and put the recording into the chart on my ipad. I use suspenders to hold up my uniform and the cables are tucked in behind the suspenders. Every day I am learning more. I have hearing aids so the stethoscope one is ideal to amplify the sound. I had the 3m electronic stethoscope for years but with my hearing I needed something else. I love the stethoscope one.

This needs to have bluetooth, so anyone could use it with wireless buds, and it needs to have a speaker mode, so that when someone is in an ER setting and listens to sounds, say stomach sounds after NG tube placement post intubation, the whole room can hear, so that the room doesn't need to rely on one person to confirm correct placement. This could also be good for teaching.

There is a Buetooth dongle now available to do what you to accomplish. Where are you located and maybe i can direct you to a supplier of the dongle and the stethoscope.

Bone Conduction; this device ,the THINK LABS1 Digital Stethoscope can be used to record the sound of Bone Conduction .I f the middle finger of each hand is placed in each ear the sufferer alone can hear the bones cracking in the fingers and ears. This piece of equipment ,like the Stemoscope can amplify the sound. The sound made by the bones conducting the signal can then be recorded as demonstrated in the video.

You really need to update the headphone recommendations. None of the ones on your website are available any more. I have no clue how to know which kind of headphone will work. The earbuds don't work well- they take too long to put in and take out and even the smallest tips constantly fall out of my ears.

I can hear when I take blood pressures, but cannot hear the apical pulse hardly at all with this stethoscope. Even my husband who doesn't wear HA's can't hear it either. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried all the frequencies.

We have one of these for research purpose. At the moment, the device can't hold charge. Is there anything that could be done? Do you offer replacement battery for the product?

  • @chibuzoboltzmann

Does the device charge while recording via USB using the Audio-technica 3.5mm-to-USB adaptor. Asking this because the battery in the stethoscope is weak. It can't hold charges any longer. And I want to record for research purpose.

Help I am very frustrated. As a home health nurse with bt hearing aids for daily wear. I cannot see or understand how I am to carry all this in and out of the home with my supplies I already have to carry in and out. I was under impression the piece had bt connection in the unit itself and you just parked with your current hearing aid. If I am missing something please help me. Because I am at the point of crying right now. I have waited 4 months during pandemic to get my stethescope shipped to me just to find that it's still not going to be functional for me to have to take my hearing aids out. And then put the stethescope earbuds in and out during assessment. This is neither productive or practical. When I still can't hear what pt is telling me when I have stethescope in my ears. I am about to lose my job if someone can't give me some good advice. We are required to make 7 home visits daily for full time and I can't make productivity. Ugghhhhh😠😤😠

I am a physician with recent hearing loss. I just got this and I am frustrated too. From what I understand you either need a bluetooth streamer that is compatible with your hearing aids (plug the thinkone into the streamer with a cable and then it streams to your hearing aids) OR use over the ear wired headphones. I don't have hearing aids yet, I'm using an over the counter amplifier. My struggle is that none of the headphones recommended on the website are currently available. IF you search You Tube for stethoscope with hearing aids you will find several nurses showing how they use it with a streamer and also a nurse who uses it with over the ear headphones.

How so? This is a USA made digital scientific medical device and is priced very competently against in other stethoscopes which do less. The USA cost of this unit is very reasonable vs. the end user cost in Canada or Australia once you factor in freight duty exchange and brokerage fees. If you are hearing impaired, this stethoscope could help you KEEP your job and so is any price too much to pay to save your career and make sure you can hear heart and lung sounds correctly??
