  • 'Silver Wind' cruise ship at anchor off Lamlash and Holy Isle, Isle of Arran.
Early this evening I filmed this 7-deck cruise ship as all the small craft were bringing the guests back after a squal had just passed.
The tide was out but just to be safe I flimed with about 15 feet between me and the water's edge in case the tide was turning.
By the time I finished filming and turned around, the water had already surrounded me and I was left on my own wee island with the water lapping on my shoes already, and a slpash to the shore.
At the time of writing (9pm) the vessel has already left Lamlash and is heading round the Mull of Kintyre on its way to Tobermory, Isle of Mull. That would be good fun on this lovely calm evening.
This cruise ship has almost as many crew as it has passengers, so they will be very well catered for.

A rare sight....such a ship in calm waters......stunning.....but how do they get ashore to Lamlash ?.....and spend their money ?🤔
