“The veteran forward will turn 35 in August yet is still playing at a high level, making the All-Star team twice in his three seasons with the Chicago Bulls. But he's not an easy plug in to any offensive system as a ball-dominant wing who does most of his own scoring in the mid-range. If the Philadelphia 76ers strike out on signing LeBron James and Paul George this summer and can't work out a trade for Jimmy Butler or Brandon Ingram with no players to send back in return, both the Sixers and DeRozan should have mutual interest. Signing the six-time All-Star as a third offensive option next to Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey could still leave Philly with $20 million in cap space, enough to pursue another starter or try to re-sign players such as De'Anthony Melton, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Kyle Lowry.”

Bleacher Report On Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Sixers:
“Potentially chiseling out more than $60 million in space renders the Sixers ridiculously flexible, and they will have up to five first-round picks to use as sweeteners. But they won't have actual players to dangle, a possible deal-breaker for teams sending out quality names who aren't overly concerned with their payroll. Fortunately for Philadelphia, the Hawks will almost assuredly be mindful of their operating costs. After winning the draft lottery, they will enter the offseason (just barely) inside the luxury tax. The combination of Atlanta's track record and the quality of its roster suggests that won't stand. This exact construction should be a no-brainer for the Sixers (cap space-pending). Bogdanović is a career 38.4 percent shooter from distance on over eight attempts per 36 minutes and brings more on-ball scoring pizzazz than Buddy Hield and more playmaking than Kelly Oubre Jr.”

Hell no I wouldn't sign Derozan dude is a washed bum who wouldnt fit on any winning team during this era of NBA. I'm not signing DeRozan just because of the name and he doesn't fit well at all. We better off getting a few players that fit the team oppose to just a name.

Pass on DeRozan, Embiid and him operate in the same areas which mean Embiid would need to stretch out more than I'd like because DeMar cannot

Derozan would fit well! We had Harden who dribbled players careers away and we were ok, the complaint then was we had no midrange scorer or person who could put there head down and get to the basket at will! Derozan is that, why can’t Maxey be the floor spacer? Before Embiid got injured Maxey was shooting around 50% on 3 point attempts! Think outside of the box sometimes.
I think for Maxey for really to take that next step, he needs the ball in his hands. That is where he is most effective. The best version of this team is Maxey and Embiid surrounded by an elite level 3-&-D wing. But you never know, maybe they could make it work
@76ersTV Maxey has played off the ball almost his entire basketball career. I'm not sure where this narrative comes from of him needing to dominate the ball. If you can average over 20ppg next to Harden you're fine without the ball!
You have to remember we need stars to cover the 20-40 games Embiid will miss. If you strike out on the others, you have to take him. We need stars to compete with Boston. Most of the time, we lose our standings when Embiid goes down.
A Maxey/Derozen combo would be way better for capturing wins in Embiid’s absence
