- The government says it plans to adopt an "agile" approach to regulating artificial intelligence.

It's giving existing regulators ten million pounds to develop the skills and tools to address the risks AI poses to their different sectors.
It's also thinking of introducing future binding requirements for developers but says it won't rush to legislate with "quick-fix" rules for this rapidly-evolving technology.

I don't trust the people working in AI to have our best interests in mind, nor politicians to understand it in order to regulate it properly. It's going to wreck any notion of what is or isn't real, who is or isn't trustworthy. AI shouldn't have been released to the public the way it was.
Aiming for innovation and growth or making peoples lives better. Both at the same time! And even beyond these. Making people's lives safer.
