Fall 2023 Update: My partner is signing up for the Sprint(!) but I noticed the cashback incentives are different... so make sure to double check before purchasing 🌸💗
Definitely! I started at A0 in Spanish when I did the Lingoda Sprint. I learned SO MUCH during those 2 months, and it was extremely helpful as a beginner. I'm now in their A2 Spanish classes and I still feel challenged!
I made a 6 month update video that goes more into this, but I'm moving into an intermediate level at this point. I make plenty of mistakes when I talk, but people can typically understand me and I can understand the gist of what's going on in day-to-day life. Here's the video where I talk more about it: shorturl.at/bxDUZ
Before the sprint, I would say A0 haha. I was a true beginner! I knew a few words, but I couldn't form a sentence or really understand anything. Throughout the sprint, I completed almost all of the A1 lessons in Lingoda. Though compared to the A1 classes I did in school with French, I can speak much more and understand more spoken Spanish because there's so much practice in the classes. I just wrapped up around 60 classes this week and, while I still make mistakes, I can carry a basic conversation with a little Spanglish here and there.
There is no book! I believe Lingoda made the curriculum and it is all through the website. There is vocabulary. and grammar that you can review before each class, and then there is a powerpoint that you go through with the teacher during the lesson. If you need to use a specific book, you may have more luck on a website like iTalki!
I just re-read the rules, and video is not explicitly required. However, it does mention classes must be attended fully (section 5.1 of the rules) and I'm not sure how they determine that. I'd reach out to Lingoda directly for clarification!
Long time I was looking forward to your new video. Thanks for sharing.
aw, thank you! I'm more active on Tiktok and Instagram, since CZcams videos are so time consuming to make.
Really? Interesting. Last time we spoke I mentioned that I am about to start a CZcams channel. I have not started it yet😄.
@@rahimmalekshahi8750 I remember that… You should go for it!

hey, you make great videos, keep going with your channel
Thank you!
enjoyed the video. where are you living in PR? thanks
We're in the mountains, about 30 minutes from San Juan!
Thank you that was very helpful. One question … are the lessons audio only?
They're over zoom! So, it is audio & video as you go through the lesson with the teacher :D
I’m maybe A1 in French. Would you recommend it for someone this early or wait a bit to build a better base?

Do they provide you with the learning equments example Laptop etc.
No, they do not. You will need an internet connection and any hardware necessary to complete the classes.

@@ReganShorter thank u so much for your quick answer big like ❤️
Is keeping video on mandatory?
