      I actually made it and received my money back! It was really great and I have learned a lot! Great experience overall. Just the beginning was hard because some teachers will speak fluent Spanish even though you never studied it before. A lot of teachers don't differentiate at all which can be a bummer but for me it was actually good since they pushed myself a lot.

    Thank you for this and the previous video on Lingoda. Very informative and helpful for me thinking about this sprint concept. I've just learned of this site today and was unsure how it worked and if it would be good for me trying to learn German with no prior knowledge outside of very brief self study and random words I picked up.
    I wanted to sign up for the super sprint but it says it's all sold out 😭 so it's only giving me the option of the regular sprint for 15 classes a month (and only 50% back if you win).
    Do you know what the learning expectations are for the 3 months (for either sprints)? Like i don't expect to be suddenly fluent so quickly but I'm curious what level i can expect to get to by the end

    • @BonnieVoyage
      @BonnieVoyage  Před 3 lety

      I'm glad you found the videos helpful - that's my goal! ;) That sucks it's sold out, if you did want to do the super sprint the 3 months till the next one would go super quick and you could do some prep since they do only speak in that language during the classes. I would expect you as a complete beginner to go to A2 for sure. Especially if you do the homework and stuff (I didn't do any and i still went from A2->B1) and I do think the lower levels are easier to progress but possibly more overwhelming (higher levels have more complex grammar but if you've never learnt a language before (like me) i was like wooow this whole other world out there in beginner lol). I'd advise record yourself speaking and do one of those free online placement tests (lingoda has one to for the start of the sprint) and compare the results after :)

Do not use EITHER or any types of credits until after, right? I also successfully attended all my class but there's a class that's count as technical problem due to zoom outage. So, according to the rules, I didn't use that refunded credit. I was wondering if you could clarify something else for me. I know that lessons are available 24/7 but what does it actually mean? I guess they are talking of different lessons, aren't they? For example, I work during the day so, if I decide to subscribe to the super sprint, I would be able to participate in lessons only during the evening (Rome time zone). Would this be actually feasible? I don't understand if all classes would be available for certain

    • @BonnieVoyage
      @BonnieVoyage  Před 3 lety +1

      It just means they are international and have classes available at every hour of the day :) yep you can do you! Though if you limit yourself to a small time window the selection of classes isn’t as big, naturally. Best to book 2 weeks in advance.

    • @BonnieVoyage
      @BonnieVoyage  Před rokem

      @@amethystjean1744 i think the reason they do that is because a teacher cancelling is out of their/your control. Imagine you had a class at 11pm for example and it got cancelled, you’d automatically lose the sprint if u had to rebook for that day. This info is outlined in the terms and conditions on their site or if u google it. But that’s unfortunate that you’ve lost because of it :/ I knew people would trip up on these details that’s why I made this vid 🙏
