- Check out the latest box from Your Creative Studio with me! I'm unboxing the April 2024 vintage subscription box and sharing my first impressions and ideas for how to use some of the goodies. There's always something new and interesting in that great vintage style. There are lots of papers, stickers and very versatile journaling supplies. Let's get some creative ideas flowing. I like this box because it’s different from the usual. I cancelled my subscription in January after two years. I haven’t regretted it yet, but this is the best one I’ve seen in awhile.
I like when you give ideas when you go through the items. I would really like to see a longer type video where you give examples of how to use them.

Hi! I LOVE the contents of this month’s YCS box! It’s so different from what we’ve gotten in the past and I personally LOVE the TILES! I think the colors (dark blue & orange) are bright & cheery and some of the more neutral blues/grays offset them beautifully… when I saw your video posted, I checked my mailbox before watching just in case my box had arrived but it hasn’t and I couldn’t wait to see this month’s theme. I received the JAN, FEB, and MAR boxes but have not had an opportunity to play with them yet but I have them on my table as I type this to be able to review the contents again and get started on my 8x8 journal for 2024 - I’ll be doing the same format as the previous 2 years. The first 2 pages of each month have at least 1 of every item in the box, then 4 pages each month using only the box contents. I guess I do tend to keep the contents together in other journals as well however… at the end of the year, I combined the extra contents of the last 2 years into a layered storage system and it fit perfectly by category. I kept the YCS matching paper products together in their own sbc. Storage envelope. Anyway… sorry I got long winded… thanks for sharing the unboxing and your ideas of how we can use these supplies. I love the blues and look forward to making some blue/yellow/orange themed items! I corralled most of my YCS supplies in my rolling storage cart and that has been working well...It just keeps being rollled close to and away from my desk as needed(although the cart doesn't really have a home to tuck away into...it's always out.) Mine came yesterday. I love the tile theme. I have some tile embossing folders. I loved everything in the box. I might cut apart the bookmark and use them separately on tags. Can't wait to see your charms video. tfs
😃Thank you for your comments and ideas!...wish I had tile embossing folders, that sounds like it would go well. I would love to see some of the creations from that. The charms are pretty much ready, now I just have to do all the production to make a video worth watching...🤞😄
I'm not one for the mass of tiles. I love the bookmark. I would probably pass most of these down to the school kids. They would love them more than I.
Yeah, the tiles are out of my comfort zone but will be a good challenge to create with and might be someone’s favorite at the artisan market I participate in, in the fall. 😀. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
This is one of my favorites in a long time. I'm the opposite of the lady who commented above. I would totally order it if those cards didn't have any gold on it.

The last box was a slight disappointment to me. I can't usually tell by the videos if I like the box or not. I have to physically touch and see the items. I always want to have at least 15+ items total.
I just did my first 4 month subscription in March, I haven't received aprils box yet but now i know it will mostly go in with my grankids craft boxes just like March's box did. I wont be subscribing again.

@@ButterflyBlessingsStudio my grandkids will love the boxes and perhaps may and June’s boxes may change my mind 😁. I’m new to subscription boxes , I would like to be subscribing to a few of them but don’t really know what’s out there. It was watching your videos that got me to try this box. Just seems like your last fewer months boxes I absolutely loved and then march and April is very disappointing to the other ones. But I have 2 more mystery boxes to go yet and might change my mind
@@alaynamoser9302 I hope so for your sake 🤞. There definitely have been a few duds for me in the past, but those make good creative challenges, and I sell my stuff at a handcrafted market in the fall.
@@ButterflyBlessingsStudio its May 9th and I still haven't received this Aprils box. I also make alot of homemade items and go to the markets to sale them. Im glad you enjoy the boxes but from my experience with the company they are not my cup of tea. I will still be watching your channel, you have a great stuff to watch🙂

This is one of my least favorite boxes in a long time… such a disappointment. I like the paper and the bookmark, but that’s about it. I have so much unused YCS stash that it may be time to call it quits.
Oh, no. I'm sorry to hear that. What do you usually like to use the supplies for? Are you a journaler? Maybe trying some challenge groups or stash busting group would help get through the unused stuff...I do tend to accumulate as well.
