  • What is up everyone! Finally back with another video for the channel. This one is a short and easy video for everyone who likes these types. In today's video, I show you guys how to make the most pops, cracks, bangs from your car's exhaust system. This is specifically for the Mercedes C63s AMG Coupe but it also works for all other cars with sports exhaust systems and manual shifting! So this may not apply to all cars but if it works for you, let me know in the comments below and tell me if you got more feedback from your exhaust doing this! Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoyed the video!!

    Here's a tip. After coming down from 4-5k try tapping the throttle *very lightly*, this will definitely get you more pops

    What I do in my CLS63. First warm your car up in sport mode, your temperature gauge should reach at 800f, then it's warmed up, then stop the car, put it in park, then change into race mode / manual, never change gears into race/ manual mode while driving as you are using different sets of gears, don't destroy your transmission, you want your transmission to last. Warming the engine is one thing but most important is the transmission fluid is nice and hot. You want those gears to shift very smoothly. Keeping in in between 2nd, 3rd, 4rth. Press accelerator just a bit hard, not like a mad man, just make it hit @3500 -4000 RPMs. let go a bit, Pop! Bang! Repeat. This is called doing pulls. For flames, dec cat, engine must be very hot. High revs gets that gas bypassed and into the hot pipes.

      @@jaykoi3436 you have an oil leak somewhere. The trick is to find it. I would get that message every now and then too on my E55 and I would just top it up every time until I changed the oil cooler gasket which fixed the problem. Needless to say tho, make sure you change your oil every 5k miles

      His looks like a pre face lift (2019 and before), which were louder due to changes in emissions regulations. To get more out of a stock exhaust get the Renntech exhaust valve module. That will allow the valves to be open 100% all of the time. Stock it is only open about 70% even with the valves "open". That would give you more sound forsure.

    will this method work for a 2017 c43 amg with the sports exhaust, not performance exhaust?

    • @abarritt
      @abarritt Před 4 lety +1

      Ok, not really, it's really difficult to make it pop with the sports exhaust except for when you are in Sport + go WOT, do an upshift then let off the pedal, in order to get pops I'm gonna do a stage 1 with burble tune from AMR. You can also make the c43 sport exhaust pop, when you downshift suddenly when hitting around 2500 to 3000 RPMs, but this is standard practice for pops.
