A Quick Hinge Mortising Jig For This New Transom Window Build

I was showing Kevin how to make and use a quick hinge mortising jig that easily aligns the sash to the frame it’s mounted to. So I recorded it.

What's going on w/ the Buttress' along side doors? Concrete trimmed in wood? (I took screenshots)

I think those buttresses are just a style. It’s actually common among bungalows.

What kind of wood are you using to make those windows? That wood looks like it won't last. I suggest you use sapele.
